Value of the truck in your area!

Actually I own a 2006 TRD Sport 4drs and It's in very good condition just I little high on miles(146,xxx) and I was thinking in get a newer truck like 2012-2014 but darn the price for the same truck as mine but newer the prices are high as hell!! For example I was looking this truck
http://greenville.craigslist.org/cto/5531765469.html I mean this is the value on KBB but my brother bought the same truck 2014 and the price was $30,700 for a brand new truck!!! This was in PR.

 

Tacomas have the number 1 resale value out of *any* vehicle sold in the US. Slightly used might as well buy new. Well when you could still get a new 2nd Gen anyway. I looked at 2-3 year old trucks when I bought mine in 2015 and it was stupid, made more sense to buy new.
