I had a tire shop mount and balance a set of Toyo AT3 tires to my new FN Five Star wheels. They also installed new valve stems.

I put them on the truck this morning, and noticed the valve stem is oddly long (see picture attached).

Did the tire shop just use stems that are too long? Any way to fix this without removing and reinstalling a set of shorter stems?

Unfortunately they need to be swapped out entirely, I wouldn't want to run those long ones

Dang it, I was hoping there would be an easier way. I don't really want to break the bead. Does anyone have experience with AME Quick Valve Change Kit? Looks like it has some pretty positive youtube reviews, might be worth a shot...

Why not just take it back to the tire shop? I'd at least ask them to fix it, and if they don't, leave an appropriate review and move on.

Remains to be seen I bought the tires and wheels the rest came along
    Might be all they had!

Call and ask some supplies are getting very hard to get.

Things I could buy and receive the next day now can take a week maybe two

That's wack. Nice wheels like that should have the smallest stems possible that you can still easily get a air chuck on

Same thing happened to me on my last set. Told me they couldn't get them. I brought my own and they swapped for free but a hassle none the less.

Spoke with the tire shop and they used what they had in stock. Two are short and two are long. The picture is of the longer one. To be honest, I don't trust the place I went to enough to have them unmount and redo the stem. I might end up changing them myself.

It's going to a shop that I trust for suspension upgrade on Friday, I may ask them to take a look at replacing the two long ones. Thanks for all the advice!

Amazon will not deliver to me.

All the drivers refuse to navigate my Driveway.

They will throw packages 500' feet away along the road and claim they are on the porch of the neighbors house.

A few months back I put new Toyo AT3's on my wife's 4Runner. A friend of mine owns a shop and always hooks me up so I get to see the actual database numbers. I got the last 4 265/75/16's in North America. About a week later a guy comes walking up as I was loading some groceries. Turns out he's been trying to get a set and couldn't. I almost sold him mine for twice what I paid for them. lol
