Put Method 305s on and my valve stems are out there. Almost flush with the edge of the rim. First off-road trail and they will be beheaded by a rock. I didn't specify a valve stem type from the installer and, to be honest, they may have been from my prior wheels that had a more inboard stem location (SEMA then Ikons).

So, what are my options? I prefer to run TPMS on my 2019 OR, but want a lower profile and/or rubber stem.

You need banded TPMS. That way, you can run a stubby rubber valve stem. You can break the bead and replace the stem on the trail when it breaks off without damaging the sensor.

    Stock-ish
These wheels are pretty famous for having the worst placed valve stem for a more offroad baised wheel

I was excited to try out the Bead Grip technology. But, it won't make any difference if I lose a stem first! Banded TPMS may be the best solution.
