Has anyone done a full trans flush and fill on the valvoline synthetic trans fluid it is marked on the jug toyo ws compatible it's probably good stuff just curious if anyone tried it cost wise it's about $17.00 a gallon compared to toyo at almost $35.00 a gallon.
I'm at 60 k change now gonna use the toyota juice this time and gonna go wit the valvoline next trip I've been a equipment mechanic for about 35 years and have never had any issue with valvoline products.....so I was thinkin on trying it

I had my transmission flushed with Valvoline Maxlife at 60K miles. Now I have 106K with no problems. I did a drain and fill on the transmission at 100K (approx 4 quarts). The old fluid looked perfect. Couldn't really tell the difference in color from the new fluid I put in. So in my opinion I think its great stuff!

Well did my full flush and refill on my auto transmission today per the instructions of mountian Lions post and it worked wonderfully, the first stuff that I drained from the pan was kinda dark not real nasty but dark, so I proceeded on with the cooler hose drain into the bucket after about quart number 6 it started to get that nice cherry red color to it so I did 9 quart drain and 3 to refill it back up left it warm to 125 degrees and checked level it ready for another 60 k now.
At that time I will drop the pan and and do a filter also.....
    Happy motoring!

I dropped my pan, changed filter, cleaned magnets and pan and swapped all fluid using the garden sprayer method, (at 54k, I live in Maine and don't care to do this maintenance in February) all worked like a charm, and it shifts like a dream, I bought it at 20k and it has never shifted so well. I also changed my front and rear diff fluids, transfer case fluids(looked new) and did a coolant flush.
