Valvomax Drain plug

Hi, Has anyone installed the valvomax drain plug on their Tacoma that has the TRD pro skid plate? Is there plenty of room to operate the screw on hose connector? TIA...

 

did mine a few weeks ago had no problems with a rci skid. I had to go between the skid and pan to connect hose. my hands wouldn't fit in the hole of the skid. I think yours is a square hole if memory serves me correct.

 

Works fine for me! Access is fine for a normal hand.

 

They make those holes in the skid plates big enough for big hands to remove a drain bolt. The special valves are not wider than bolts, just taller.
