hey quick question DJ, how much would it cost to get a custom tranny crossmember fabricated? thats really about the only issue I have right now since I dont know anyone that would be able to make one. I really want to do this conversion, but its not gonna happen until hopefully towards the end of the year, I still have awhile since I still need to find the parts I need.

Ive got a buddy thats willing to help get the front end put in one weekend and get the tranny/tacase and whatever else put in another, hopefully in that time we can get everything done. I would like to get this done before the Florida guys annual Citrus meet next year in Jan. Gonna get my new lift first since I dont have the time right now since Im still in training for my job for at least another 5 months. So I have some time to find the parts and gather the cash together

Depends how much somebody wants to charge you :D Probably about $150 or so for the 4x4 crossmember from Toyota, can't remember exactly what I paid. Them $30 or so for the steel, 1"x3" square tube. For a professional fabricator that has the design ready maybe 3-4h of work. Crossmember has to be cut into 3pc, then the 1x3 steel has to be notched out in centre. Centre section needs to be plated in on the ends. Weld the outsides on and the centre in. It didn't take me much time with my ghetto fab. You'll also need the mount that the tranny sits on, think $50.

Diehard 31m installed also rebuilt the fusebox mount, easier to access. Clear coated steel to match battery cage

Yes sir all the ifs stuff is bolt on. Only thing that's not is the tranny crossmember.

Thanks, i had my bluesea mounted on the fuse box before too but the panel makes it cleaner. Use it as a excuse to upgrade your compressor and move it :D

I should considering it is only a back up now and I have CO2. I am getting the bigger blue sea panel and the relay so I might do it then.

I might have to look at getting a co2 tank myself, would come in handy.
