I bought my 2009 at Pattison in Surrey- The salesman was fairly decent (Terry). He wouldn't budge on price (said they don't have to on Tacomas), but threw in a bunch of extras. I got BlueTooth, All weather Mats, Locking gas cap, bed mat and factory alarm. It seems that dealers have latitude on options more than price- I would love to hear if anyone in BC has haggled price down much.

I don't like Pattison's service though. I go all the way to Langley Toyota for service. Nice people- Listen to your problems- don't pretend they have never heard of a TSB before.

Sorry, I forgot to mention that my truck(used) was on sale that week as it was due to go up for auction. It was already marked down $3000. from their initial listed price. There might be some room to move on price.

Give Peace Arch Toyota a shot. I dealt with the sales manager (Richard Loomer) there because my buddy does a lot of contract work for him (aftermarket accessories). He's a straight-up kind of guy, won't dick you around, and will give you the best deal he can without a load of BS like the other dealerships do. He's also awesome when it comes to getting you the vehicle you want WAY ahead of the queue.

I sent a coworker of mine to him to get a Venza. Buddy got a ridiculously good price and he found the vehicle he wanted when the other dealerships said it could not be done. That said, though, there is no such thing as negotiating on price for a Tacoma - demand is still outstripping supply.

I got mine at Jim Pattison on 108th in Surrey. It's the one with the crazy light in the showroom off Hwy #1... They were pretty good.
