hey, how do you like your LR UCA's? there's a guy selling them on the Hawaii threads, so I was interested in getting some feedback on them. I think they're advertised as low/no maintenance? just trying to compile as many parts as I can before I move back to the Big Island.

I like them. I mean I can't really tell a difference in performance other than I've been able to get alignment with my front cranked up past 3". Other than that they seem solid. I think you just have to check the ball joints. Make sure theyr'e ok.

Had some spare wood so I made a stand to hold my sliders to make it easier to paint them. Works pretty good actually! I just need to turn it around and hit the other side with a couple more coats then I can mount them. Just want to take my time and coat them good since they'll be taking a lot of road debris and stepping on.

I like the look of the Allpro sliders. If my wife didn't surprise me with the BAMF sliders I probably would have got Allpro's.

    Thanks bro!

No not yet...haven't had time. I'm having my buddy at Ron's help me throw them on Tuesday. I need an extra set of hands and he has a lift at the shop. Then I'm going to ask Dana to help me drill the holes on the bottom of the frame.

Yeah, I didn't realize how nice they were until they actually arrived. I'm begining to really like their stuff now. I'm torn cause I really like the Pelfrey design but, also like to be a little unique.

Let me know when you're ready and you can come up to my house. Just bring a new cobalt drill bit, I have the rest.

So I got as many bolts in there as I could. But there's a lot of leftover hardware so I'm going to have some of the guys have a look. But it looks great! Gotta hit a couple areas with some touch up from trying to install these by myself with a floor jack.

The bushwhackers are sick. Are the bolts actually removable?

lol...thanks Rick! I actually saw someone selling his bw's in canada and just loved the way they looked. Besides, no one can ever take away pc'ing their plate bumper from you. Here's the pic that inspired me.

Mudflaps are screwed in. They're aftermarket flaps. I saw flaps that Mike had and asked him where he got his. He told me Iven. I aksed Iven and he said he actually had an extra set that he got from Miles when he sold Miles his BW's. I'll take a pic from the rear later but they cover perfectly and I can't really tell they're not OEM.

Thanks! Yes the bolts are removable, but are just for show. I'm actually going to take the bolts out when I have time to pull all the flares off and to get black bolts to replace them. I can't stand anyting shiny silver on my truck!

a friend at Maaco charged me $350 to paint them. That was worth it. I would think it'd be about $500 regular.

Damn...so I noticed tonight that my rocker lights aren't working anymore. I don't know when they went out but this only happened since I installed my sliders. I was able to get one side to flicker for a moment by playing with the contact point where the wire is soldered but then it went back out.
