Various 3" lift questions

New to this form, hope I'm posting this in the right spot? I'm on a skiff form and I know how sensitive the regulars can get. Anyways I just put a deposit on a TRD offroad 4x4 and hoping to pick her up tomorrow, Monday at the latest. I'd like to lift it ASAP. My question is What's everyone's favorite 3" lift. I've been looking at the Icon coilovers and pretty set on them but would like to hear other people's opinions. Also I see some people buying the kits and others buying icon coilovers and pairing them with Total Caos Uca's. I might be a little OCD but I would think keeping the same brand would be a benefit? What's the biggest tire size people are getting away with? I'm planning on running Toyo Opencountry M/T's. Are 285/75R17 possible or are the 295/70R17 more practical? I don't plan on wheeling her all that much. Lifting more for looks but will be using the 4wd. I am an avid fishermen and have a skiff with dry launch trailer. (Can launch without getting tires wet). So launching from the side of the road and some trail rides from time to time will be as serious as I'll be getting.
