Hey guys, im in the process of trying to install some 5100's in the front (got TSB the other day and trying to level) and i'm having trouble getting the strut and spring assembly out. The how-to in the suspension section lost its pictures so its hard to tell if im doing it right. Any advice? i'm close to putting it back together and taking it somewhere lol

i have it un-bolted on the two points on each side like the how-to said, but not 100% removed, its just kinda pivoted to be out of the way. Should i take it completely off?

^^^ you should be able to get it out just like that, just pry the LCA down. i usually separate the upper ball joint from the spindle to make it easier

Devil's Peak was a fukcing challenge this weekend. ended up being one hell of a turn out with 14 rigs, there was 3 xterras, 6 fjcs, 2 tacomas, 1 toy pick up, 1 4runner, and a cherokee. i used all my of my body armor and skid on that trail. im definitely not doing that trail again until i have 35s under my truck. pretty much climbing a series of dry waterfalls. im glad i didnt get any body damage other than scratches.
    heres some pics: photobucket.com/devilspeak

Trail looks crazy. Glad I didn't go, especially with no skid. I tried searching for pics at photo bucket on this iPad, couldn't find it. O well.

lol nice. but u might just wanna get rid of the mudflaps all together or else rip'em off again like rocky gap LOL

yo greg or don or anyone with a hi-lift jack mounted to the bed rails, where/how did u get the stuff to mount them?

derek, ill do my best to draw a diag. but its pretty simple so im sure u'll get the idea.
