    oh ya, derek, btw, those lights are for a hutch for tool box or something. they wouldnt work. LOL nice idea though. i had already thought of that idea

    no really. idk if i told u that story. the finance guy thought i was a retard n didnt know how to count. then after i didnt back down n take his deal n sign the papers, he pretty much told me GTFO n have a nice day. sorry we cant do business. LOL -ok - cuz they dont need my money. fine. never going back.

    tacobo i've been there and I know a few guys (seen them at a bar close to the shop) and they talk mad shet about people that come in...and yes they just want to give it to you like if they were paying you to bend over. I have a 2005 blaster. I bought it in LA though. What kinda Quad you are looking for? My dad has a beartracker and I think he wants to get rid of it. He bought it 2005 but probably has less than 70 hrs of riding. it has been sitting in my parents garage for like 4 years. Looks like new.

    cool man. i would like a yama 450 or something similar. im still debating to buy off CL -older models, carb'd. or buy brand new -payments, EFI. but if the right deal comes along that i can find (again off CL) then i'll try that. but idk. still looking

    oh no worries I just thought about it when I read what you posted. Hey by the way you had a post to your build somewhere no? I just did my taxes and was looking to get my truck a gift...new headlights and taillights. I want the black ones. I saw some on ebay but wonder if thats the only place I could get some cheaper ones. I dont know much about headlights...or anything automotive for that matters. Who would like to school the teacher?

    ya, its in the SW region. idk if its still up its an old post.
    the head lights - im sure u can ask someone on TW to make them for u, but i think that requires u sending them ur lights then they fixem up n send back. u can buy off ebay, but just make sure to seal them w silicone before u install in truck. or if u have alot of patience n some fab'ing experience then u can try to do it urself. i tried to do it myself. f'd it up. just spend the money.

    i was trying to find an excuse to not go to cali that weekend and go to death valley instead but i have to many family members thats gonna be disappointed. oh well maybe next time, just give me a couple of weeks heads up.

    Yeah sorry, I've been thinkin about an overnight for a while, but just solidified plans today.

    I should definitely be saving more money in this economy, but I gotta get out of town once and a while to maintain a level of sanity. We just had 10 technicians laid off, lost a whole bunch of funding, I'm one of the lucky ones thank god.
