Maybe you can open mine up and paint the rest of the housing black for me! :D I don't wanna risk having these leak like one of my stock ones did.

Damn, painting was the worst part lol. I kept messing up and having to sand and redo it all, especially the bowl. Wonder if mines gonna leak, too soon to tell. Looks like I sealed it good tho

I'm thinking about heading to southern Utah for the weekend of sept. 21-23. Starting in st George and heading south/east. Leave Vegas Friday afternoon, come home Sunday. No specific plan..... Just going to wander for the weekend. Here is a link for more info on the area.... http://www.expeditionexchange.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1229

If anyone is interested in going let me know.... I'm also open to another run if you have any suggestions.

I don't have to experience for a retro fit and I found a member selling these for almost what I would pay for all the parts and what not so I got these instead. I thought they were completely blacked out in the pictures but only the reflector was, the housing trim is still the stock chrome. One day I'll do it...just have to make a weekend out of it and go slower when it comes to sealing it

Ahh i see. Well at least that part isnt bad. The oven sounds sketchy, but once you do the first light you'll see that it'll be just fine. You'll basically just be doing the BHLM. Let me know if you need any help, i'll be happy to assist.

Mine turned out great other than the seal part...first set of headlights I've done that didn't seal up right. The one's I've done on past vehicles have turned out fine though. The over part was sketchy the first time I did this a few years ago but other than making your kitchen stink for a bit it's no big deal. Now, everytime I paint a part I stick it in the over for a few minutes, lol

That's the lift I'm putting on this weekend. The shocks set at 0.85 would be where to set them to get 3" right? Just wanna double check.
