I've had really good luck at discount tire. They pricematch and their customer service is usually over the top.

Greg, Tie Rod Hill (if that's what its called) on Saturday? Not sure of time yet. Basically right behind Mountains Edge to the South. If anyone else is interested let us know and we will tell you were to meet. I believe Manwithoutaplan is in last i heard. This is a fun run and I did it several months back without rock sliders and no major issues. But 4x4 probably a good thing, unless your AMH3RST and you just plow through :D

I ended up going to Discount Tire because they price-matched a "deal" I got from a friend, yet still offer the hazard protection and all that good stuff.

Went with Nitto Terra Graps. Sadly Discount Tire would not mount my tires and let me leave with the Gorilla Lug Nuts I had on my previous wheels and Toyos. Claimed I needed the Extended Tread, and the truck wasn't safe to drive. I argued with the guy for about 15 minutes, and even said I'd order new ET lugs through them, and come back to get them installed. He was quite stubborn and wouldn't budge. I have some ugly Chrome ET lugs on now, and will get black put back on as soon as they arrive. Or I could put my regular ones back on for now, but not worth the trouble.

It's the only Chrome my truck has.. awful. That said, the Nitto's look awesome and so much better than my loud, worn out and uneven Toyo MTs

If you stay on the main trail, I'd say anything with 4wd and reasonable ground clearance will be fine. If you're taking the couple side trails that loop out and back, you're going to want 35s at least, lockers and probably some rocker protection.

I don't wheel a yota but my rig is on 35's locked front and rear with rockers and one of the side trails I won't try. I try to avoid damage but at the same time I'm not totally scared to push it either. This isn't the trail but just as an example of what I'm willing to try yet I bypass one side section of tie rod.

On the main trail thru tie rod though, I think I scraped once or twice, it's not too bad IMO but that's judgmental based on what I'm willing to wheel.

As you can see, the rockers on mine do get used...

Pivot off them around a rock? Sure, why not...

And just to keep it toyota related... I did cross paths with the Taco that Matt at MCM built the front end on out wheeling on tie rod this past Sat.

That last picture is actually the entrance of one of the little side trails on tie rod but is probably a decent representative of what the trail is like in general honestly.
