    Dan's driveline or Adam's Driveline would be my recomendation of anything axle/driveshaft related in Vegas.

    Yes, took a little longer than expected. Tow truck was able to winch me out pretty easily. Just as luck would have it I had a dead battery, but I bought a new one and brought it out there just in case. Once out of the mud and battery installed I drove out on my own. Since it sad & mud & water for over 24 hours, there was a lot of caked on mud on the where, so it thew my balance off and the steering wheel wobbled all the way back home in Henderson. There's a squealing/metal scrapping noise coming from the rear end. Need to take it to a shop to get looked at. Any suggestions where to take it and what exactly I should have done?

    I'd clean all the mud off before taking it to a shop. Maybe some Maxtrax would be a good purchase.

    All of the mud is gone. I went to a self-wash place this morning and did the entire under carriage. Later this afternoon I still saw a little bit of mud caked in in different spots so I spent another 45 mins or so with a hose and got all of the nook & crannies. Everything's clean now but the rear it still sounds like scraping metal. I'm thinking its sand & dirt inside the drum breaks.

    So if I order some 5100s, OME 885 coils, and an AAL for a small 3" lift on my ride... Is anyone here in Vegas up for a night of installing this lift in my truck? I'll bring over some beers, and have headstrong assemble the struts before shipping. I've never installed a lift before, so it would be a fun little learning experience.

    Or do I just need to get it all installed by a shop or someone.. I did find a neat video for doing the strut assembly without using a spring compressor. Kinda interesting.

    Going with Billy 5100's on all fours. OME 885 coils, 1/4 spacer for Taco lean, and an Add-a-leaf pack in the back. Headstrong has it for under $600 but there's a Toytec lift group buy discount thread I may jump on instead.

    That lift will get me just under 3-inches so I won't need new UCAs, but will probably get new ones down the road.

    If so, look up wheeler pass info. It's not too difficult and a great escape from the city.

    Another idea would be head down to Nelson, explore the town a little bit, then continue past the town until you hit the water. Go explore down there a bit.


    Wheeler pass will start off hot but get cooler as you climb in elevation where Nelson will just be flat out hot but there is water at the end you could go swimming at...
