Not saying I wouldn't try you guys out. Always wanted to go to a meet to see everyone but normally they're across town from me. The last one that was close to me was one of the few weekends I was out of town. I'll make one one of these days.

Welcome! Most AF people live on the N-NW side of the valley for ease of access to either Creech or Nellis, with decent housing, some restaurants and not too bad crime. There are other nicer areas but they are a hike from base.

Eating, camping, and wheeling are unlimited, so you really just have to decide what your flavor is that day. Vegas is also a good central point to hit Northern AZ, Grand Canyon, Zion, Southern Utah, SoCal, etc., depending on your adventure. If you can handle the heat you'll love it here.

Oh and the drivers are all crazy. I think highest insurance rates in the nation here.

Hey guys I posted up this thread looking for some help in Vegas this upcoming weekend. If any of you guys have any kind of connection or hook up for Night clubs or pool parties maybe you could message me. I'm getting in Thursday afternoon and well it doesn't hurt to ask. I'm going with my gf and we like to party, and I know it's expensive no matter what you do. ;) Thanks for any help!

I just started a thread saying Im thinking of starting a group, Las vegas Tacomas. I didnt know anything about Battle born tacomas or they even existed. Im not into hard core off roading. More into going to car/truck shows. Finding good food. Doing bbq's. Ive also got a 20.5 Carrera Elite jet boat and go to parker az pretty often in the summer that could be part of the group? Lemme know what everyone thinks?

Hey guys I'll be Boston Vegas for one day/night and I was curious what should I do? I know I want to walk the strip, see a live show, and go out to eat..

Any recommendations on what show/restaurant and/or anything else to do?

I won't be able to, I am working. But if it comes down to it you can walk man. It's probably a mile walk after everything, MGM is located right there at Tropicana and Las Vegas Blvd, it's one of the first ones you'll see. Nice build by the way.

I'm honestly surprised how few posts there are in this thread considering how much wheeling there is to do in the area :notsure:

I have yet to meet any of the locals. But on that note, buddy backed out of camping for the weekend. Anyone want to do wheelers pass or rocky gap? Or any other trails in the mountains to beat the heat. Or even a night run.

I really just want to wheel this weekend

Hmm, I've joined about 2 or 3 groups on Facebook. The Vegas FJ Cruisers and Battle Born Tacomas groups seem to be pretty active, so hopefully I'll get to meet a bunch of people and do some wheeling through them.

If I was moved already I'd definitely be up for it. Hopefully only a couple more weeks....

Actually my goal is to start posting some rides after Aug 1st. I'm not into doing anything real hard but i like to explore the area. Places like Morman Wells, Delmar ghost town. There are a lot of interesting areas around Rainbow Canyon.

Let me know us anyone would be interested in that.

Done some of the trails around rainbow canyon and Delmar. Lots of cool places but mostly graded roads like a highway. Easily did 60 MPh on parts. Some good views thougb and some cool off shoots. Post up the runs and I'll go

Yeah I'm on the fj group. They do some good trails and have seen them around town. Hoping to make a run soon. Always fall on bad weekends for me haha. Battle born group looks cool. Meets are always on the opposite side of town and late but may make there meet this week though.
