Hopefully I'll be there in a couple of weeks. Go back one page and you'll see my posts to another AF guy about how the AF is taking their sweet time getting me my orders. Was originally planning on being there Friday.

Transmission fluid is leaking into my transfer case... again! Will call and get another seal and hopefully have it done this weekend. Till I get that done, trucks down..

Interesting. Didn't even know that was possible. Hope the seal fixes your problems....

What do you have for a DD? I'm going to have to get a beater car or truck for my commute when I get there.

Had this problem once already. Theres a seal around the output of the transmission and seals the Input shaft of the tcase. When it gets nicked (or its not there entirely cause it wasnt in the parts box (first try)) it leaka transmission fluid into the tcase till its full and then blows it out the breather on the tcase. Have to pull the tcase out to replace it. Major pain.

Truck is my DD:spy: I want an old single cab toyota pickup beater for my daily. But can't afford two cars right now.

Ouch. At least it seems like you found it before damage was done :fingerscrossed:

Nice haha I'm actually looking at getting the same thing. 90's 2wd single cab pickup. All the good ones that I want are in California though....

There's a 78 and few around those years thay I want. But the older the truck, the more problems they can be. Idk. I'll keep looking and if a screaming deal pops up, I'll get it.

Yeah I'm wanting something that at least has a/c and has somewhat decent paint. Preferably fuel injected as well. Just depends on what I can find when it's finally time to buy.

Will be great for transporting the bike to local trails though.

I'd prefer ac but could do without. Paint I don't care. But I do want a smooth body. Wouldn't mind a 4 speed either. One part of me says build rock crawlers and another part says build a sweet street truck.

If I'm using it to commute over an hour 5 days a week then I'm going to need a/c. I like the heat, but not that much.

I'd love to find a gray/green one. Love that paint color on these mini trucks. If I get one it's definitely getting lowered haha

Yeah i commute 40 miles a day right now through the city but the first part is all at night. Ac is definitely nice and I do love having it. Makes sitting at stop lights bearable.

Green/grey/tan/black. With the retro stripes or one with patina all over would be awesome. I drool over the 4runner glam runner on here. Retro stripes look so good in my opinion. Lowered for sure. Gotta fit in with the cool kid's haha

My morning commute wouldn't be bad at all I'm sure. My drive is 35 miles on the highway one way. What I am worried about is it being able to hold 75mph and still get decent gas mileage. Either way it'll still get better mpg's than my Taco.

    I guess I haven't seen that 4Runner before.

Oh yeah, that guy. Would be pretty awesome to have that paint scheme. And I found the truck that's perfect for it too haha

This one is definitely one I've been looking at for a couple weeks. Probably gone by now though.

Hey guys... Does anyone have any tires for sale here in Vegas? If not, here's what I'm thinking.

My girl has a 2002 Tacoma ext cab stepside (love it) and she needs new tires. I'm thinking about giving her my 6-7 mo old Nitto Terra Grapplers, and tossing some Goodyear Duratracs on mine instead... I mean she's getting tires for free, so she can't be mad she's getting my fairly new and expensive handy-downs.. i mean for reals.

I don't have a "lift" but I do believe the previous owner added a small leveling kit, and there's a cap on the top front springs adding a little bit. I'm wondering if I'll be able to squeeze 275's down there. I might have a tiny bit of rubbing in certain cases, but never around town, right. Not to mention I can always do some cutting. idk. Just a thought.

The Nitto Terra Graps are amazing tires, and I like the squared look but I miss my Toyo MT's mean look. The Duratracs give that mean look while staying an AT tire.

Hahaha right from MOT himself. I haven't joined them yet either. One day I'll make it out tho. I swear.
