    From PERS about buying time:
Members who have qualifying military service in Operation Desert Storm, Operation Iraqi Freedom or Operation Enduring Freedom may purchase additional service credit beyond the 5 years once they have completed the initial 5 year purchase.

I work for Clark County and I've bought time but I'm not eligible beyond the five years.

Unfortunately I'm too young to say so myself, but my family has done so with Metro so I knew something, you work for County specifically, Code Enforcement or?

Thanks, bro. And I'm sorry to hear about your uncle. My dad is in Kindred rehab hospital from Desert Springs. Hopefully, he'll be let out soon as he is progressing slowly. All the info is much appreciated! I was actually thinking about visiting CSN soon to talk to a counselor about the program I'm interested in. Maybe I'll catch you for lunch :fistbump:

Anybody know a quality detailer? Not your hose and bucket, but one that can assist with buffing some small clear coat scratches, and buff a wheel that had an unfortunate incident with some road debris.

Wife wants to get rid of her leased Traverse, so want to make sure its looking good before we get it appraised.

G'day from Australia. For those of you who know me, Hello, I hope life is swell! I miss you guys, for those that don't, I lived in LV 2010-2015 and did a bit of yota-ing. Now I'm in the land down-under, and unfortunately, my taco is in storage on blocks in N. Michigan awaiting my return, which now may never happen. And shipping/importing it out here is near impossible. So... I might be looking for a buyer remotely in the near future. Let me know if you have any interest, I can provide more details. It's all set up for overlanding and I'd be willing to part with it at a very reasonable cost considering my situation.

But!... I love my whip out here:

2006 Subaru WRX with a Blouch 16G-XT turbo, upgraded: intercooler, fuel pump/injectors, turbo-back exhaust, clutch, and ecu tune among other things. Muy Bueno...

Is it at least like with family or a friend in Michigan, the way your describing the situation it's in, it seems like it's sitting on the side of the road being parted out by locals as we speak lol Sucks you can't transfer it to Australia, hopefully you figure this out and it does get sold quickly because it seems like it's going to be a great deal.

Haha, no it's not on the side of the road, I wouldn't treat my lady that way... It's well secured with family in a heated barn/workshop. Just on blocks to preserve the tires. Yeah wish it could come over here, (would be the perfect vehicle for the outback) but it would be tough as shit to import and then tough to drive as well, being right-hand-drive here and all... Thanks for the good wishes! Tell your friends!

Hey, but according to most here on TW you are actually the luckiest man alive since you can now purchase a Hilux instead of a crappy Tacoma!

True true, but being over here now and seeing what Aussies do with their trucks, I can kinda understand why Toyota didn't go full bore with the Tacoma for the North American market. Hiluxes are used/abused/modified/depended on much more on a per truck basis out here than in N. America. It just comes down to market research and economics really. I know people bitch about the differences on TW, but there is a reason...

Well would you look at that... This guy stole my idea, and he isn't even repping it with style. And yes, my truck needs a wash.
