Was it these tires? Were you wheeling on rocks?

It was broken tree branch in the sidewall. Most tires won't hold up to that.

Man if these were 16's I'd be really tempted. But I guess if they were you'd be keeping them too haha

Man.. I'd be interested if those tires were 16's also. haha. I seriously seriously need new tires. My Nitto Graps are almost 5 years old, pushing 50k miles, easy, and running out of life.

While I'm here. Is anyone interested in a Jesse James West Coast Chopper Bicycle? I've got one I'm selling.

    SOS!!!

Anybody free right now and can help out. Had a radiator fan blade explode. I’m in Pahrump right now. Hoping someone is free, can grab the blade (have one located in Vegas autozone) and meet me half way?

If anybody is interested, I will be doing a Mojave Road trip Thanksgiving weekend (22-25 November).

    ROUTE:
The route is about 140 miles from Laughlin to Baker.

    WEATHER:
Low 60's in the afternoon / High 30's at night
30% chance of rain on Sat/Sun.

    STUFF TO BRING:
    - 4 days worth of food
    - Cold weather gear (30's at night)
    - 2-4 bundles of firewood
    - Spare Tire
    - Recovery gear (straps, shovels, treads)
    - Tools you need for your vehicle

DIFFICULTY: Easy to mild. 4x4 required.
Pretty easy with bypasses for any difficult spots. The only concern will be the water crossing at the end and if it rains in the dry lake bed. Plan to drive all the way up to the river crossing and if it is too deep there is a bypass to the highway. The mud at the lake bed can get very bad if it rains and could end the trip.

ITINERARY: First day will be pretty scheduled to get everything sorted. Once we start the trail we will just plan where to camp based on our pace. There are 10 different options along the trail to camp.

    -22 Nov
    08:00 - Meet @ Bass Pro
08:30 - Leave Bass Pro for Laughlin
10:15 - Laughlin South Point Market gas station
10:45 - Start at Mojave trailhead in Laughlin

    THINGS TO SEE:
    - Balancing Rock
    - Fort Piute
    - Piute Corral
    - Petroglyph Drawings
    - Penny Can Tree (Bring some pennies!)
    - Government Holes
    - Mojave Mailbox
    - Lava Tubes
    - Brannigan Mine
    - Traveler's Monument
    - Arbuckle Mine
    - Afton Station
    - Triangles

Yeah, I'm not sure if anybody will be able to go with us due to the timing and only a weeks notice. Figured I'd throw it out there though. Might be doing it solo.

I see guys driving around with Xmas lights n such in the bed of their trucks..

Is that legal in Las Vegas? I added some, but now I'm worried. Looks good, but I keep hitting the switch when I see cops. Lol

Not sure. I’ve seen a Jeep at work that has red and green lights on his front hoop of his bumper. Definitely not legal with the red lights at the front I assume.
Unfortunately I already have plans. Looks like fun though, I’ve never been to one of those.
