    Hey!

Just wanted to stop in and see if i could get some advice, pointers.

I'll be in Vegas for a week starting Wed. Going to have a camper van thing for the majority of it and was thinking about going to death valley for hiking and sights and camping. But open for suggestions.

The last day I'll be driving something more fun... A raptor. I'd like to find fun trails or areas near Vegas with good views and trails made for the raptor. Don't want any tight, rocky or slow stuff, but would like to get out and explore. Bonus for an area that will also have camping, temperature permitting, the bed of the truck will work.

I know it's unlikely anyone will be free, but the raptor day will be Christmas Eve and that night if anyone wanted to join.

Mormon wells road is pretty smooth or take it the other way towards Alamo but that's pretty far if you're alone. The trails around Jean lake bed are the smoothest/highspeed trails around Vegas though.

Thanks, don't necessarily need super high speed stuff, just wanted cool views that could be accessed by fun roads that were smooth and wide rather than 4lo rock crawling or narrow pin stripe type stuff.

Mormon wells is a nice drive and there's also roads that fork off. Gas peak for example is one of the best views of the city. Nellis sand dunes would be fun in a raptor also and has good views. Colloseum mine trail is pretty smooth and some fun stuff too see along the way.

Anyone have a SWR meter i could borrow to tune my CB antenna? I don't want to buy one when I'm going to use it only once...

Where exactly are you looking? Vegas/Henderson is like 500 sq miles.

I go to the Firestone off Horizon Ridge and Arroyo Grande. They are not afraid of lifted trucks.

Funny enough, that exact store was the one that gave me grief and wanted to charge me another $140 because I have SPC uppers.

OME, SPC UCA, ARB w/warn 10K winch, TG Rock Defense Rear, Marlin Clutch, Custom hi clearance under bed spare mount. 285/75/16. A ton of repairs done and a list up to come modifications.
I replaced my Toyota factory lower ball joints, lower control arms with new bushings, outer tie rod ends, new springs and struts CV axles and the SPC adjustable uppers on my first gen. Mild 2" lift
I took it to AA Auto care #600 on sunset road for an $80 alignment, the called later saying it would cost $350 I flipped my lid so they dropped the price to $150 if I paid cash, I was still mad but needed my truck back. I got it back and the wheel was at a 45 angle and one tire was obviously leaning out. ERRRRRR

I then went to Superior tire #104 they said it would be 80 I went back the next day and it jumped to 90, I asked why the difference he said because they have to align the back too. Aligning rear leaf springs GTFO.

I went to 8 shops who said they would not align vehicles with lifts or larger tires than stock. WHAT!

Finally I found Las Vegas Wheel Alignment & Brake on s Las Vegas Blvd. An old shop, with some older fellas working there. No frills no BS guys. They did it for $85 no problem and it runs soooo smooth now.
They prefer to not accept credit cards, and dont expect a big cutomer service but a mom and pop shop that worked well for me.

Hence why I went to that firestone that rogue sent me to which gave me an 80 dollar alignment AND offered me their lifetime alignment. But I guess people don’t want to drive :notsure:

A buddy of mine with a first gen just told me about this shop. He had brake work done. He was very pleased.

Will they exceed caster greater than 4? The one in Henderson on horizon ridge and arroyo grande made my alignment worse lol.

I've been getting alignments at arrow alignment they do great work but it's pricey
