    Hey Vegas friends. I have a chance at a great condition 2017 TRD Off Road. I am currently in a 2015 sport. The 2017 is a MT. Nothing real new to me grew up with a MT in the 80s. BUT how are these MT offroading around the Vegas area?

    It's always going to be more work to off-road with a manual. Some ways it's better, some ways it's worse.

    Going with a crawler box is a popular addition for a stick. Some people have trouble burning up clutches when trying to climb over rocks.

    Do we see many MT in this are? Wondering about resale in the coming years as well. Do todays kids even know what a MT is?

    On the flipside to this I can also a choose a very nice 17 SR5 4X4 AT with very low miles. Both trucks are priced the same. The OR version has 25K more miles than the SR5.

    This is a tough one for me.

    The MT usually resell pretty good because they are somewhat rare.

    I'd rather have the OR if it has a rear locker. Don't worry about 25k miles . That's nothing for well maintained Tacoma.

    Thanks. I am getting older and in the end I worried about my knee and that clutch peddle. And decided I didnt need the extra bells. I have really enjoyed my 2015 so I look forward to the mods on this one.
