I changed the air freshener to a new one, one time.
Been wanting to check your truck out for forever! I’ve never been to sand hollow. Down for something soon!

Yeah let’s try to put something convenient together for get togethers ftom time to time or car shows or just going out to eat and checking out eachothers trucks? Seems pretty harmless and almost impossible to get arrested for? Almost?? Lol

Check my build thread...too much to list.
HiYota is my IG handle. I'll follow you as well once I get a break and can step outside the office.

Any run those groups do is gonna be tame for your beast but yea they typically do dirt roads lol. I have made friends with a few in VTO who do like to crawl. I have kinda stepped back from some of their meets since like you said it's mostly south and I recently moved to North LV.

I'd hang out but will watch the arresting happen from the side lol.

They have a coffee&cars show on eastern every Saturday 7-10. I’ve seen some Jeep’s and trucks every now and then. Would be nice to just hang out with some coffee and chat.

When I ordered my Alu Cab canopy/tent/etc it took 5 1/2 months to get. If someone here is looking or a canopy for a gen 1 or 2, my 11 month old canopy is available. Need to buy a new one for a gen 3 I just picked up.

    I'm in Boise.

I just sent IR ANTHONY a message regarding cars & coffee on Eastern as they have a car show every Saturday between 7-10am but I’m gonna be out of town these next 2 weekends but let’s try to put something together for maybe? 3 weeks from now to get as many of us together to meet there and just chat & check out eachothers rides? Maybe I’ll just start a new thread for it here im the BS thread. Lemme know your thoughts!!

I just watched an install video, and yikes.. I don't think that's a project I'll be able to take on anytime soon. I might just wait until I swap out the bumper all together. GLWS!

    FOA
Hey Vegas people, I love to visit this area of the US but I'm not in your area right now.

Does anyone have any info or friends that know anything about FOA?

I'm not trying to bad mouth anyone at all. I know supply systems are f..ked right now.

I knowSEMA just happened and FOA was probably involved but they have had my girlfriends coilover shocks since the beginning of August and the past two months I call every week to check on the rebuild process. I was told that they could rebuild them in a week or so. I even sent the gaskets and seals needed (purchased from them)

Every Monday I call and they have said "the rebuild should be done on Wednesday, expect a call on Thursday" and that has happened for awhile now.

Anyone have any friends or info from this company? The trails close to us close over winter and we just want to get this rebuilt and back before that happens.

Im Located in NC. FOA has always answered my calls but unfortunately since they tell me the same thing evertime I just don't believe them. That's why I'm worried because I'm definitely being fed something.

    Any info is appreciated

Tell em to keep em and order something better. If your just replacing the seals with their seals, they’ll leak again in no time. They’re still around but after multiple failed shocks over the years and lack of quality control, I’m surprised.

better off just asking for the shocks back, returning the seals and buying the stuff to convert it to fox seals so they last

Well, these shocks aren't recently purchased or even 5 years young Theses 16" shocks are probably, I have no clue... maybe, at least 10 years used . I have no skin in this game since they aren't mine and they aren't going on my vehicle. What I do know is that the girlfriend hasn't had any complaints about the FOA's

But you're right, she just wants them back in working order so I can slap them in and she can finally get back on the trails.

Also one of the shafts needed replacing and they had to wait for material to machine a new one. But they received the material weeks ago apparently.

This vehicle is no mall crawler, when she uses it she uses it. The shocks held up until earlier this year

    20211103_161220.jpg

Unfortunately for now it's sitting on blocks and wood but thanks for the heads-up in the future

I had a set of 8x2.5s rebuilt about a month and a half ago, took less than a week for it to be done.
My dad had 4 16s rebuilt a couple months ago in less than a week.
Also neither shock ever leaked, mine were free to me and i figured why not have them rebuilt before i throw them in.
My dads tire caught his resevoir hose one day and ripped it apart, so he got them all redone as they were a couple years old at that point.
