Just did a search in VTO Garage group but the only one listed sold a week or two ago.

Hello, everyone. Just moved (back) to Vegas after spending a few years in NM. Hope to journey with some of y'all down the road. I really wanna take advantage of the upcoming months before my new job gets crazier.

Does this thread also serve as a flea market?

I'm considering getting one of those discontinued CVT awnings, too. Is the specified length the width of the unit, or how far out it extends from the truck?

    Welcome back!

If anyone wants to run a trail let me know I’m down. I’m usually free on the weekends just need to coordinate with the wife.

Thanks, guys. It's good to be back. Maybe we can set something up for the weekend of the 22nd?

As to the awning, it is a square? I'm gonna snag one of these. I've got an Uptop rack and awning brackets in anticipation of getting one later. Seems a good a time as any.

Oh, and for the flea market, I ask because we had a BS thread and a flea market thread for NM, so wasn't sure if this served the purposes of both.

Sorry, I'd love to but I doubt my body will be down. I got same day surgery Friday so I'm sure I'll be hurting for a couple days after.

I have a 2013 Tacoma PreRunner access cab with 6ft bed. Is there anyone in the Las Vegas area interested in trading for a dual cab 4x4 Tacoma. I can put cash in on my end. If not is anyone interested in buying my truck?

Parking question. I'm heading down from Reno in a couple weeks for work and wondering if the truck will fit in any parking garages on the strip or if I should drive something else down.

Also @Monster0Frankenstein, post up the waterport on the Reno/Tahoe regional thread and I can TWexpress if you find a buyer up here.

I haven't frequented too many garages on the strip, but those I have can accommodate much bigger vehicles than a Taco.

My truck is a bit taller than stock, and I'm heading to vegas from reno...planning on staying on the strip but not sure it'll fit in the parking garages down there.

It is 7'10" with a cargo box (probably about 7' without it).

What garages would those be? Haven't booked my room yet and I'd rather take my truck so I can ski/camp on the way home. Last time I was down I found out the truck doesn't fit in the garage at treasure island with the GFC if the first level is full and before that I was at Mandalay and from what I remember their garage was not tall enough (wasn't with the truck though).

Welcome! It's kinda quite in here but there are a few of us still BSing. I've been MIA spending time with the fam and prepping for a 6 month stint overseas. Not to mention the Taco has been giving me headaches. Idler pulley failed bad, caused the serpentine belt to shred which wrapped around several other pulleys to include the crank shaft pulley. That caused the crank seal to fail so I ended up replacing 2 idler pulleys, crank seal and the belt. Then a week after fix the new belt started to tear so I had to replace that again. Needless to say I'm pretty proficient at replacing the belt now.

I've done quite a bit of the trails out here. There are a lot of non-4x4 capable trails around the area. Some that come to mind are Lava Butte, Mormon Wells, Cottonwood, and I'm pretty sure you can make Bitter Springs since the obstacles in the beginning have by passes.
