    My comment about being in closed areas wasn't directed at you, it was reference some earlier comments made from people who knowingly went into closed areas and posted about it.

    Our passion is the dunes, but we do trails in the off season. So, we do make the effort to keep all types of land open for recreational use.
    I agree you don't have to be apart of an organization to make a difference, but people need to educate themselves about the issues to not contribute to them. It only takes a few to screw it up for everyone.
    Some of the people on here post things that show they are probably the ones causing the problems, then the people who say something about it to educate them (maybe they didn't know better?) get sarcastic replies in return which only shows those people don't give a sh!t about the land and trails and just think it's cool to take a truck offroad and tear up the trails.
    Anyway.. that's my BS for the Vegas thread.


    Thank you for the effort that you and your friends make to keep our land open. I hope more people in town make the same efforts.

    Well been in Vegas for a few days now...and I must say, nothing like Florida...lol.
    No grass, mountains everywhere I look and the heattttt! Pretty cool area though, thats forsure. I've seen a few lifted tacomas around too!

    I hope you guys can help me out. I have been thinking about changing career fields and one of them takes me to Creech AFB about 30 min north of Vegas. So I was hoping you guys could give me the pros and cons of living in or around Vegas. I am big into being outside and hoping living in the desert wont hinder my recreational activates. I’m used to having trees and grass everywhere and I think that this will be my biggest shock. Also like fishing and water sports. I’m not big into gambling or anything like that.

    I would appreciate any advice and insight you could give a guy thinking about moving to town.

    There's still tons of outdoor activities that can be done out here I do mountain biking snow boarding go to the river for trout fishing wakeboarding hiking camping all sorts of things. Hope that helps
