Alright, just got back from Vegas and was going through my photos...
I'm pretty new to photography, and just picked up my first DSLR (D3100 with a kit lens) about 6 weeks ago. Finally got a chance to shoot some stuff with it.

I haven't read the manual, and I only sifted through my "D3100 Field Guide" on the flight to Vegas so don't be too harsh on me.

The photos are unedited, straight off the camera, and I don't have a tripod.

Only a few are cool, to me. I shot a bunch in RAW, thinking that I could be badass like everyone else and make some half-assed HDR stuff... but I have no idea how. So, until I convert them to JPEG and upload to Flickr, I've only got three to share (two are the same subjects, different exposures).

What I don't like about the fountain shots is that the billboards/screens and such are overexposed... No idea how to fix that though. I was just playing with shutter speed.

Not bad for no tripod, but a tripod is a must have! It should be your first accessory.

Uhhh if the dude wasn't sitting on the fountain ledge, and if you would've taken 2 steps to the right to frame the fountain between the buildings with clear skys behind it, that would've been cool.

And for some reason, the Bellagio waters pic doesn't grab my attention at all =/
