Couple of my moto buds have them, absolutely swallows people and gear no problem. And totally easy to daily drive. Decent on fuel too, 20-25 mpg depending.

I know Ford you can buy with factory, 4x4, I’m not sure if that’s the case with Mercedes.

You have to buy the “fleet” versions if you want maximum cargo carrying otherwise they try to load them up with seats and interior plastic. You can always get one with windows in the back and install some seats, rather than having to rip up insulation and seats later on.

Ford used to have the best, a hybrid cargo and passenger van, but they discontinued them.

I wouldn’t suggest a Tacoma. Maybe a 4Runner would work better. My neighbors have a 2nd gen with 2 kids (8 and 3 I believe) in booster steats and it’s a tight fit

It’s pretty close between my rav4 and Tacoma. The back seats in both aren’t massive.

I have an 07 CRV and no way it would fit 3 kids and 2 adults comfortably.

    especially kids in booster seats

Those are basically a civic sized SUV right?
2 of my daughters have a mazda cx 30 which are more or less like a mazda 3 and they would suck for 3 kids.

The civic sized SUV would probably be the HRV. The CRV is a little bigger, but not that big. With mine since it’s older is much smaller. I’d say it’s pretty comparable to a Mazda 3. It’s smaller than my RAV4 and a lot smaller than my Tacoma. It’s a good little daily driver though

Taco seat is wider, but RAV4 has mo legroom. Neither one works well for the kids who were raised in a minivan.

I am secure enough to drive any of the 3 vehicles in the stable. Or do dishes and laundry, when needed. My wife mows the front 3 acres, I do the back 4. Works for us.
