They vary by state, but I wonder what others pay for an annual registration.

Last spring we bought my wife a 2019 SR5 Access Cab, V6, Auto, 4x4, so that gives an indication of it's retail cost. Just got her first renewal from CA DMV(Department of Motor Vehicles) which is $547. If we pay with cc/debit an additional 2.1% fee is added on top.

    How is it elsewhere?

    Mods? Yes.
Washington is about the same (for my truck). And we can only renew registration one year at a time. I know there was a new law passed by voters, but its still up in the air afaik. The lady's Fiesta is about 1/2 of my truck.

Edit: Just looked it up. $521 was my 1 year renewal on my '18 TRD OR 4x4 in 07/2019

It's crazy what Arnold reversed because people were pissed about the fees, people voted back in just over a decade later. Short attention spans in that state or everyone is rich.

Think I've seen this thread before somewhere.

Texas state plus county registration averages about 60 bucks. Inspection is split into two payments for some weird reason now, $15 gets tacked on to the registration fee, and $25 is paid to the inspection place.

So total price for the registration sticker per year is about $75-80, depending on county.

Paid 568 last year. Was a 2017 trd off road.
In the Bay Area California. I also have a vanity plate so that’s like 30 dollars on top of regular fees. So it would of been 538?

$8, but I'm a disabled vet so I only pay the licensing fee. I think it's something $72 otherwise, depreciated annually.

VA has a property tax tied into registration each year.
If I still lived in Northern VA I guess I’d be paying at least 1200.00 per year for my 4 vehicles.
In PA it costs me around 91.00 registration for each vehicle and 75.00 for yearly inspection and emissions.

Less than 1/10 of that number for me. In fact, if it wasn't a pick up truck, I would have paid only $35 annually.

Not sure why it matters. You pay what your state wants.

Unless, of course you plan to base your living choices on vehicle registration.

I paid 195 for 4 years here in Oregon. to renew will be 112 plus a 10 fee for inspection. If we keep going the way we are, our great Governor will have us paying the same as California:eek:
