Yeah not wanting to fuck up my headliner just so some patches can stick and fuck it up even more when I pull them off

They’re definitely not for everyone. Mine tell a story front to back now. Closer to the front are the things that got me into off-roading and the lifestyle - inspiration if you will. The further back you go, I now only collect patches from places we’ve been. So now it’s almost a timeline of when we went where.

That's awesome. I love those kind of back stories. A lot of the guys I ride motorcycles with are veterans. Their cuts are full of different patches that they have earned, places they have been, service time etc. Always cool to hear how they got them

not worried about hitting wires up there? just dropped my headliner to add overhead switches. most of the wiring is secured to the headliner. didn't really look around to check routing though.

Nope. I don’t push the pins straight in. They’re pushed in on a big angle, so they don’t go through the headliner at all. The pins I use are about an inch long.

Hmm, I'm definitely going to have to do this then. I didn't like the idea of sandpaper and this a great solution. thanks for the pics!!

    Here's an idea too...

Mine is on the way! It may only hold a handful of patches but for someone just starting to collect (like me) it's a perfect solution. Plus theres a pocket to keep registration, insurance info, etc.

I had no issues throwing all my patches up. without pins and needles. I just twisted them on, no pushing.
