I can't seem to figure out why only 1 of my license plate led lamp work after install. Both work prior. Passenger side works. Driver side doesn't along with the led strip that is also wired in conjunction. Resistors are installed on both side. Weird to me that only 1 lamp works. Any thoughts? Thanks.

Hmm.. Thinking about removing the resistor since I have the led strip AND tag lamp...

Is the LED wired in correctly?
I believe they only work one way?

I triple checked. Even redone one of the connections because it thought it was a bad connection. I did research and gathered that the white/black stripe is ground and the green is the power wire. Connected the reds to the green and the black to the white/black.. Even switched the polarity, just in case. Still no go. I'm now wondering if the resistor is stopping it from working because I also have the led strip connected to that same tag light harness. Is that possible??

You shouldn't have a resistor wired into any of the running lights. Resistors are strictly for use with LED turn signals running off a non LED flasher.

Get a voltmeter or test light to check for 12V at the wiring or swap sides to see if its a faulty led.
