My truck is only blowing warm/hot air. No matter if the selector is on cool or hot or even the A/C button on. Can anyone tell me what I should check to fix this problem. Summer is coming I need to get this fixed starting to burn up driving down the road.

Hey Aaron, is the AC light blinking? I know that usually indicates there is an issue with the compressor.
Also, when you turn the AC on, do you hear the ac clutch engage?
Only other thing I can think of is maybe the blend air actuator is broken.

Mine was the blend air actuator motor. It's located on passenger side

The light on A/C does not blink...is the air actuator motor down near the floorboard? Has a wire harness plugging into it with like three screws holding it on?

Actuator is not working any way to fix that? Also when I’m pushing the AC button nothing is happening does this motor have something to do with that as well?

Is the AC clutch engaging? You should hear it click. Also, check all your fuses. Not familiar with early Tacoma's but trying to help

When I push the button I don’t really hear anything but I thought it might be tied into the motor that’s not working? Not sure though?

I don't believe it should since the actuator works with just heat even with AC off. Did you remove the actuator?

Does it do anything if you just plug in the electrical part and change the heat settings? If not then either a fuse, relay or it just went out.

Have you checked to make sure control knob is actually turning switch? They get striped sometimes but sounds like fuse or bad motor.

Well I got the blend motor to working don’t ask me how I hooked it back up and it started working. Next issue I ordered a used control knob unit because one of the stems was broke off.....the first one I got worked fine except the ac light and fresh air light wasn’t lighting up. So the place I ordered it from sent me another one it’s also used. The refresh light comes on and works but the ac light does not come on nor does it get cold air.....I checked the fuse under the hood and it was good. What else can I do to look into the problem and fix it? I think the AC pump is located to the far left when looking under the hood and it is turning so what now?

Possibly just bad connection. Glad you got it repaired.

Thanks! I read to check an AC relay but in both fuse boxes I only see a fuse that says AC I don’t see a “relay” any idea where that’s located?
