out of all of the ones I posted I think the best would be either Reyes Peak Camp, or Camp O Alto . Both are free , the second one is probably a little more secluded/less crowded .

Just remembered this is a holiday weekend so I'm pretty sure most of the camp grounds will be packed, I'm thinking that we should go with a camp ground that's maybe a bit more secluded, I just think it's pretty lame camping next to other people and all the old farts that wanna tuck in at 10 pm and expect everyone else to be all quiet

So for those of us who plan on camping are we just gonna end up meeting up in Ojai and head out to set up camp?

and also for those that are not planning on camping we need to find a place to meet up on the morning of the run (thinking near Lockwood Valley Rd and Frazier Mt Park Rd). This place is accessible from either the 33 or the 5 fwy, for those coming from the 5 its only like one exit after Gorman then head north on Frazier Mt Park Rd

sounds good to me. not much cell service back in lockwood so meeting up at the high school is better if people get lost or are running late.

ruler, where ever you think is a good, not crowded spot to camp is good w/ me. i hear, not wanting to camp next to old people who call it a night at sundown

I'm down to meet up at the high school, but I think that if we meet there both days that's a whole lot of gas we will be burning and kind of back tracking since none of the trails are gonna be in Ojai . Well we got about another week to get things situated, if you guys have any good ideas lets hear them

what do u mean by meeting there both days? this is what im thinking:

we all meet there saturday morning, roll to the mountains do some trailing / offroading, then hit a campground, kick it, have some beers around the fire - those that arent camping can leave and go home
