An unfortunate truth, theorized correctly in the opening scene of Idocracy.

Chick rides. Although you see guys rocking them. People here love SUV’s because of the snow. Although lately in my area the new craze seems to be the new equinox.

In 2014 the first most popular car stolen in the US was the Honda Accord, the second most popular car stolen was the Honda Civic. 3rd was the Ford F-150.

Upstate is similar to Nassau ‘cept less teeth and more country music. They didn’t get the fuckin memo that they are neither country nor western.

This... Kauai is my home away from home and agree with this ...it’s definitely a necessity for rural areas considering the rainy/muddy conditions. Still , some get absolutely ridiculous with insane lifts and tiny wheels.

In Canada I think it’s gotta be Newfoundland. Just got back from vacation and it did nothing to stop me from picking a new one. They’re everywhere. At one point I said to my wife “ ok if I see four more on this road in the next half hour I’m buying a new one when we get home” I saw 5 in 15 minutes.

Haha I always think about the frame debacle when grumpy 1st Gen’ers try to talk smack.

Cool dudes in 2009 “1ST GEN IS LAST REAL TACOMA 2ND GEN PLASTIC CRAP TONS OF ISSUES”
Cool dudes in 2019: 2ND GEN IS LAST REAL TACOMA 3RD GEN PLASTIC CRAP TONS OF ISSUES”

Edit: I can’t wait until the 4th Gen comes out with a turbo 4 and a CVT so I can immediately forget how annoying people saying unsubstantiated crap was and start talking crap of my own.

In Kauai right now. The sheer amount of Tacomas here is just mind boggling. They are literally everywhere, just like the chickens. We played a fun game to see how many Tacos we could count going from one location to another. You can count to a hundred in sometimes like 5-10 minutes. It was only fun the first time. You easily lose your count since they just keep coming. They are just so overwhelmingly dominant here. The next most popular trucks are then Nissan Frontiers and Dodge Rams. But they pale in comparison in quantity. And full size trucks are dominated by Tundras and then F-150s and Silverados after that.

Oh, and you see some pretty interesting choices in lifts as well. In some cases pretty comical.
