Just an FYI for you guys looking to do the ECGS bushing replacement...I stopped by Bailey's and they weren't interested in doing the replacement. The guys there are great and honest. Basically, they said they are really good at what they do (I agree) but don't step out of their box too often because they are so busy with the work they are known for. I stopped by the 4x4 Center in So. Burlington and they told me they do about 3 ECGS replacements a month, they carry the bushing, and they have the removal tool. I'm getting it done in a couple weeks.

If this is something you are interested in, don't be like me and buy your bushing first then try to find someone to install it. Call 4x4 center as they already have the bushing and if you buy it from them, you're labor rate is $80/hour. It's $105 for me because I have my own parts. Live and learn.

Bob - It's actually a needle bearing in the driver's side CV that is bad. The replacement is a bushing made by ECGS. Toyota has a TSB out for this (TSB-0026-15), but they replace the needle bearing (which fails) with another needle bearing. That said...almost immediately after lifting the truck (only 2") I began to get vibrations through the floor between 25-45 mph. The vibrations in my case feel like your driving over a rumble strip on the road. It's cyclical as your moving. It's also intermittent, so it comes and goes. Apparently the needle bearing also fails often in non-lifted trucks but I'm not sure you get the symptoms, or it's just not as bad, at stock height so most folks don't notice until they lift. There are a ton of threads on here that helped me figure out what was wrong and how to fix it. This place is freaking awesome...

    Well
In that case, to be more precise...mine feels like I am driving over a rumble strip for 5 or 10 feet then smooth (no rumble strip) for 5 or 10 feet then rumble strip, etc...on and off

Seems to happen mostly around 35mph but as time goes on it is happening more frequently and at different speeds.

I love Bailey's! @Jeffch suggested them to me when I had to get my rear leafs rebuilt. Congratulations on your setup.

Ah the infamous rear break cable housing that the Heritage techs hang off from so they crack! Glad you have no problem with yours. I'm getting mine both replaced Monday so I can get my truck inspected since Heritage dinged it in the system. I'm asking for my parts back. PS happy belated birthday!

I would camp & wheel in Silvio Conte or Wenlock Wildlife Management reserves. Free camping & wheeling right off 105 outside of Bloomfield in Ferdinand VT. Debansville General Store the BEST pizza. Essex House in IP best beers on tap w/ Taco Tuesday and All you can eat Fried Shrimp Weds. I sold my house in Burlington and moved up here fulltime. Love the NEK.

I have a MX on my 2GEN not LB love it! My friend has a MX on his 3GEN AC loves it. He just won a Yeti cooler from Capworld Portland for his setup. He camps in his all the time along the coast of Maine. We both like the extra headroom. You can stand a trash can upright that's handy. We both got access doors on the side with led lights. I beefed up my stock suspension as not to sag.

So you know Judy VT is backing off on the inspection stuff. If you are automatic the parking brake won’t fail you. Not sure if it’s passed yet but it’s coming. Posted the WCAX news story about it a few pages back.
Do you still have the same truck you had when we did our meet at James?

Yea I was their first 5100 install. Good to know I’ll swing in for an alignment pretty soon and ask them again! They were reluctant to do the 5100’s but I had vids and how to’s already for my self. Showed them what I had and they were sure let’s give it a go!!
I did not have an appointment either I did call a hr beforehand about a broken leaf it happened every yr til the tsb spring pack. Ended up with the leaf replaced the 5100’s installed and a killer alignment. I had an alignment package with a local tire shop and Baileys showed me why I shouldn’t use them. Chain store shops only use two of the adjustable points to get spec they had frozen points that were not being used in alignment.
I’m not in need of the swap but it should need it by 200k maybe?
What did it end up costing at the 4x4 center if you don’t mind my asking?

Yes I still have the same 2013. It's in great shape because I treated frame since day 1. No issues normal maintenance. The dealer is the problem torquing on those cables with their greedy fingers
