I undercoat for a local auto shop. We shut down about a month ago because it gets to hard to do it when it snows have to reschedule snow and salt everyplace and the list goes on. we use fluid film we are in South Burlington Lots of places now do it so im sure you will be able to find a place near you. If not let me know and next year we can help

I called these guys back in November for an undercoating and they said they don't do undercoatings once winter rolls around. They said that the they don't have a heated area to apply it. Maybe they will with the warmer temps this week?

I went to Yipes Auto Accessories in Barre. They charge around $215 and have a heated bay for it.

The tricky thing about fluidfilm in the winter is making sure it doent just wash off.

In the summer/fall when I spray I tell people to drive down a looooongg dirt road to cake it on. If some one left my house after a spray in the rain and got right on the interstate, a lot of it would wash off.

Yup, ideally you want some dry warm days following application so it gets a chance to creep into all the gaps, etc. That layer of dirt help keep it in place too.

Dusty roads and fluid film go together like peas and carrots. I drove lots of dusty roads after we sprayed our trucks this past fall. The dust sealed it all up nicely

Not sure where you all are at in the state, but I'm up in the NEK and it's been one of the wettest and saltiest winters I've ever experienced. This fall a friend bought a new Ram and wanted me to spray it.

He bought a 5 gal bucket of PB Blaster Surface Shield to try it out. I sprayed it in October, and it's holding up absolutely amazing! Even the highest spray areas show no sign of washing off at all, and the areas that haven't built up a layer are still glossy and thick.

I lightly top coated the fluid film on my 4runner with it as well, and am overjoyed with the stuff. Also holding up fantastic on the winter beater Volvo. Far superior to Fluid Film in my opinion and without any of the smell

Clearly, those vehicles do not run dirt roads regularly. My picture is how my truck looks 90% of the time, going and coming from work. Sorry, those trucks are not run on vt dirt roads much, unless you own a carwash.

The 4runners picture was taken just after a wash and wax, I live on dirt and have for years. Anywhere from half a mile to 2 miles, Sheffield and Walden. My cars are absolutely filthy in one commute. I do wash my vehicles weekly though, and they're always waxed.

The dodge owner doesn't live on dirt, but I'd argue highway speed pavement driving is harder on oily undercoats than dirt is. If anything dirt helps build up a protective layer

It's much harder to get good pictures with the Volvo. But even here on the struts where the tire sprays directly on it, the stuff is holding up just fine

Ready for the fishing season! Had to adjust the cross bars over a bit to make room for the rod holder but everything worked out great.
