In MA I had to remove my studded snow tires by 4/1 by law. Since moving to VT I consider that the earliest possible date they could come off.

We get the Canadian news. It's something like by Dec 1st or 15th or whatever that they are REQUIRED to get their snow tires on. Really? You would wait that long up there... let alone have to be told to do so? lol

Damn, I try to get mine on before whitetail rifle season starts, usually right around Halloween. I try to get all of my outdoor work finished up by then.

The news broadcasts out of Canada are indeed freakin hilarious at times. They don't seem to cover the pertinant security issues though, surprise. Too far gone to wake up, like most places the small concentrated cities delve out the expected behavior to the rest of the 99% of geographical land mass population.

Don't worry - if you're driving after the upcoming snow meltdown starts this weekend again you should have some nice brown tone to it soon enough. My poor dirt hill driveway... ruts as far as can be lol

Our mail person has actually stated that ours is the worse driveway hill-wise on their entire route. We got the ribbon!.... but no one delivers during mud or winter seasons.

There's a house on rt15 that I pass weekly on my way to-from guitar lessons that during the first thaw, when the mud's at its worst has the worst driveway I've ever seen. This year he had his tractor stuck to the axles halfway up the hill to his house and the rest of the driveway had ruts that would swallow a child.

Read this says they drive thru a fence?
Unsure if it was to make a path or being chased?

Yeah, I don't try with the SCUT tractor until it's fairly firmed up, wouldn't want to get in that ^^ situation lol. I could probably lift the front and back up a bit with the implements but that still doesn't mean I could move it out of the way. I mush it around with the ATV wheels to get it a bit flatter for drying when motivated, I can and have lifted the back end of that by hand to swing around. Plus the tractor can't match the ATV wheel rpms for mud flinging fun :bikewheelie:

Doesn't help either that during the big meltdown there is a spring that pumps out right at the top of the driveway where the hill portion starts. Forms a stream for days, and there's another that pumps out from right in the middle of our garden area for about a week. Should have looked for something at the top of a hill.

VERY light on details. My take on it was that they were trying to avoid BP. So they found a field on the other side to get to the line, saw nothing on this side, and just plowed through one of those farm livestock looking gates. Apparently not giving names, "details", etc on the occupants.... to avoid obvious controversy.... since my understanding is that true Brit nationals don't need to go through this much trouble

When they did try to have this as a news item some months ago, they stated that within one hour or so of being jacked in Mont the cars were already hidden in the cargo containers by the ship docs. Almost no chance by then. Not sure if the GPS / tracker bits can emit from the containers? I would think not much, being Faraday cage-ish? The cars would show up overseas with the license plates and such still attached. Parties involved are paid off and no one cares...

Wait until they do what their Brit lords have suggested (did you see this?) - they recommend now leaving your car keys on the table at the front door, so that when (not if) the party breaking in comes they can just snap up your keys without having to get in a scuffle with you.... since apparently they just want to take your car and not inconvenience you. WTF...

Lol - My immediate reason is when they cross over on our back roads up here on bicycles to "tour" then have to run three abreast for the duration. Nothing like coming over a little farm hill and almost going head on with them in my lane. Methinks I might win that one :bananadead:

Apparently some pileup action on 87 in NY at the moment (Thursday morning) from the heavy snow, if anyone is over that way or heading. Doesn't look like it's ending too soon yet either. Wet stuff!
