    I also caught these on the side of the road just down from our house on a walk this afternoon. Used to see them more in PA, but I think this is the first in VT. Definitely the first around our area.

    Yeah, those too in full green! And my goodness the little crickets are deafening lately...

    I'm also still seeing fireflies, though they mostly stay in the grass and do slow blinking now. Never noticed them this late before, but they're on an upper part of our grass hill where I don't go much at night. Neat little critters.

    So, so far this past weekend - ran the rear diff breather line back up to the lonely little bed cubby and put a small filter on. Didn't like other places, and the filter was the same price as the Toyota non-filtered breather cap. Should keep things clean and dry there.

    Debadged (permanently) and pulled the bumper caps to finally get rid of the chrome. It's the little things that make the difference.

    Also figured out a fairly neat way (for me) to mount the Trax. I started with a hanger piece in the upper middle front of bed, inspired by SupraLee's printed piece. This hung them nicely but they still moved and popped out a bit. I did two little brackets for the floor and tapped a hole in each for an eye bolt to screw into. This made them rock solid. I can unscrew / screw the two bolts without tools and have them dismounted in a minute, have extra tie down points, and can run a cable through the eyes for security.

    Trying to make a basic camping / Don't Wanna Get Stuck rig. More bed hacking to follow... :sawzall:

    For anyone interested - I was at the Enosburg Ace and some of the basic First Alert fire extinguishers have a $10 off for Ace members sale at the moment. $15 or 16 for some 2 pounders is nice to just grab some to throw around. Assuming most Ace's are doing this too... (?)

    The other funny was, as I was walking out a "hardcore" bicyclist was coming through the lot. He stopped and asked me what town this was. Like what town he was in the middle of and to get back on the trail. The rail trail is run right up against the Ace parking spots there in town so I just pointed. Had to chuckle to myself, maybe shouldn't be riding any kind of distance and not know what town(s) you are in or close to? That's how the aliens disappear you :alien::alien::alien:

    Why? Well, I could have told you last week with near 100% accuracy that it was going to rain today. We are getting our home heating oil top off today. This is the fifth year in a row that it has rained (and a decent amount today apparently...) when we get the delivery :rofl:
