Out in the boondocks where half of people I talk to don't know it exists. Truck is ugly right now but the build starts in april, already got some warrior 375 chrome wheels to put on once the snow melts. Flat bed being fabricated first week of April to replace the paper thin bed that is far beyond rusted out. Billet grill in shipping currently, and in search of a bumper mounted light bar. Haven't had the truck too long but it's been great to me so far. Mechanically excellent with an almost new frame and 95% rust free cab, but a little ugly on the outside. Got me through this miserable winter on junk snow tires with only minor damage to the front license plate. so I'm happy with it for sure. [IMG]

    Hi and welcome,
    I've been to walden before!!
New frame on it that's nice mine still has to get the Toyota treatment told them I'd hold off until they have the fix for the leafs.
Plus they need to let my winter frame treatment break down some.

You're not missing much in walden haha, capital of paved roads that look like class 4s and snow that lasts twice as long as anyone elses. Yeah, it's nice to have a new frame on it, good amount of piece of mind, sadly the front struts could use a little help and the nuts are essentially non existent, so that will be fun. Everything is basically rust free except for bolts and the bed. Picked up some wheels for it today though, hopefully distract people from the flaws a little bit haha.

Anyone have any suggestions on where to get a good alignment for my truck? Someone preferably with experience with adjustable UCA's. Im in southern Vermont!!

Sorry bud not from the southern part.
On a brighter subject got my truck back after sending it back for a second time.
Pretty happy with the way it turned out. It ain't right but looks alright, just scored a set of bronze TRD beadlock wheels from Dean in Stowe.
Awesome guy wish we had more time.

Sweet score! Did the stealership have to inspect your frame prior to them agreeing to do the frame treatment?

    Hey bud,
Thanks I'm pretty freakin happy with the wheels and to meet another awesome member was cool. For sure a person I'd hang out with!!!
Yea they did inspect my frame and told me I qualified for the treatment.
However after they pull the box to do what they are gonna do that will tell further what the extent of the carnage is. May be treated may get replaced.
I have a buddy at work with the older gen tundra they did the treatment 3 yrs ago and this year failed inspection due to a hole in the frame.
Toyota fixed it by welding in a patch. I've been coating mine myself for 3 of its 8 yrs I think I'm ok but I put Toyota off on the treatment until they have a cure for the leafs.

Jeff those rims are going to look bad ass on your truck, nice find.

I'm going to be doing some upgrades to my setup as well. I ordered the fox coilover upgrade for my lift which I will be installing this weekend. Also ordered a custom set of Alcan springs for the rear which are still in transit. No more 4" block in the rear lol.

Washed, clay barred, and waxed her this past weekend too. For once we got some decent weather lol.

Got my new fox coil overs installed today. Bitter sweet. Although the new ride is awesome I have to give out a big fuck you to down south motor sports for sending a generic spanner wrench that doesn't even fit in the strut tower. (Had to grind it to make it work, and poorly at that) Also a big fuck you to Fox for changing to a single adjustment ring setup with a set screw rather than the double ring setup like most coilovers on the market. Sorry DSM, you def have lost any future purchases from me. You would think for the price I paid for these coilovers Fox could at least include the proper spanner wrench. At the end of the day the ride is awesome. I def noticed a huge difference on our shitty VT roads. Just sad it was a frustrating day due to a shitty spanner wrench that DSM shouldn't have sent in the first place, and Fox's new single adjustment ring setup.

I think I :spy:'ed your truck at the shop in Georgia Saturday morning doing the change over. Saw the headlights and thought it must be you. Nothin's ever easy though, huh?

Are you still running a sway bar with your lift (even possible)? Getting curious of combinations to help with the ride -- In high agreement of our road conditions, at least they did some of 105 last year .

Looks good but I know she ain't quite right but I'm thinking about trading but will prolly keep it.
James sorry about your suspension install sucks when they go cheap big business crap.
They probably saved close to a dollar by sending the POS spanner.

Yes I was at Interstate Auto all day, my buddy works there so I get a bonus of free labor lol. Yes I still have my sway bar installed, most kits include a sway bar drop block if it's needed.

Jeff those look badass on your truck!

On a better note today, my custom Alcans springs and u-bolts came in today. Have to say they look pretty awesome compared to the crappy stock springs lol. Bye bye 4" blocks lol. I also ordered the real Fox spanner wrench today, looks way more suited for the tight working space required

I know right, lol that's how a spring should be built lol. Can't wait to get them in. Just in time time too, I might be towing a racecar to Devils bowl and Airbourne this summer.

Yeah my fathers tundra had the treatment and I thought it seemed like it would work well...I would have liked to see them cover the underbody in addition to the frame but I guess that's obviously not their headache. I have replaced my leafs already due to breakage and replaced them with Dakers...Pipe dream here but maybe if I bring them the broke leaf they will replace them. Thanks for the feedback.
