I'm calling corporate Toyota not happy no warranty on frame or work now?
WTF Toyota shit is not even sticking to frame sticks to my fingers better. Even pulled off frame to leave a bare spot nice FKERs.
If I'd had known I'd have had my frame done somewhere else and not by Toyota. Or not have it done at all so I can see what's going on and control it my self. The shit they covered everything in makes it so you can't see what's going on. 30 hrs later and still wet as shit never hardens so I was told just nasty shit.

Called corprate about this they say I'm covered for the next 16 years.
Wow awesome Toyota that's why I bought it.
Still not impressed with coating, to heavy to see what's going on with the frame. But if that's what they want done that's what gets done as long as they stand behind what they do.

So I'm hoping the stuff won't let my frame rot away from inside the shell it's gonna make. It is hardening not sure how hard it will get, but my buddy's tundra it's coming off like scabs 3yrs later. So the frame is covered until 2031 now, guess it's worth it? I had my frame in check I believe, we shall see because it's not going anywhere. Gotta talk to Handys not too pleased with them now. Ok so I was looking at truck pictures and put together my wheel obsession. Not counting the stocks painted black or the borbet off road wheels that would not clear the calipers without 1/4 inch spacers. I've had the truck 3 1/2 years or close to it.
    My wife is a sweetheart.

I know!! I'm keeping the trail teams, but I really like the 17" fj steelies, and want to use them for winter, but I have a brand new set of firestone winterforce in 265/75/r16. That's why I just bought 16" steelies. I'm hoping one of my friends buys the 16" steel wheels. He is borrowing them to refinish his alloys. I have the mt's for sale but no bites. Oh well. I may buy a set of mt's for the fj steelies, to complete the set. Lol!! I know it's a sickness!!

So I was gonna ask how much for the MTs but just say no. I still have to mount the duratracs I got for a now lonely set of wheels this winter. Your TRD wheels got the KOs they had on them.
You gotta post some pics I wanna see the grill.

I mounted the mt's on the trail teams, all 5 of them... my truck has kinda morphed into a pro poser!! I like them, but would kinda like to see what the fj Steelers would look like. I just bought ko2's on impulse!! Sure you don't need another set?? Lol!!

The MT's are on craigslist, really want to get down to 2 sets of wheels and tires. If the MT's don't sell I may try to sell them with the Trail Teams this fall.

hehe tire whorehouse has a link to your garage.

So loading up the truck to get rid of the family's garage sale I noticed this.
One a year so far. I will have to call Handys I guess, to see how soon they can get me some of the recall fix leaf packs. image.jpg

    So I called Handys!
They wanted to make an appt to inspect my broken spring?
So they could then order the spring really.
Told them I'm on my way there for them to see for them selfs. Nope gotta leave it for the day I say fine but I'm gonna wait for it there.
They don't want me hanging out there!
    Hmmm can't figure out why.
So they called back I'm known and my truck is known well enough they are ordering it today and will call to give me an eta.
So I wrapped the spring with tie wire so it can't spin out on me. Now I wait hope springs are quicker than frames.

Been there, my 09 did the same, except no recall. $500 was the bill I think. I used to think handy's was good but since the old service writer left it hasn't been good!! Lost my business. Flat refused to look at my shock that was bad at 2000 miles.

Hey bud. Belive me what you have said about them is happening. Not sure where to go now but after Toyota care got ahold of them they seem to be more willing to listen and not just do what they want. The people at Toyota care told me they would deal with them for me if I don't want too. Or they would set me up with another dealer. Still not sure seems like the he said she said crap.

Hehe light bars? Sliders would look good! I'd have done sliders for what? The wife wanted a step.
    Tinted headlights?
I seem to find it never ending. Looking at a carbon fiber mesh grill now or the ones on Craigslist in Stowe.
