I'm actually communicating with Della Toyota right now via email and have already gotten better numbers from them. If I buy I NY do I pay VT taxes there or do I have to register the truck at a VT DMV and then pay taxes there at that time?

    a bunch of new/used parts....and some skids.
The guys out at White River took care of me when I got a frame recall. even fixed some of the things that were "not right" when I went back a month later.

    Hey,
    Welcome to Vermont.
What do you think so far?
Seems like we should have more wheeling options here.
Anyway welcome and I hope you are enjoying it here.
It's been a mild winter but it ain't over yet.

That's good to find a decent dealership. Handys was good but I've had issues in the past and recently they bent a buddy's aftermarket rim and refused to do anything for him.

I use a Delorme Gazatteer. Best $20 bucks I ever spent. Old school but works.

    Hey a late welcome then!
I know NYCO is new here.
As far as the VT registration the folks at Della should be able to help. Not sure if they can do it there? I'd think once a deal is struck they can either send you what's needed or maybe a transit plate, maybe just fax it to state during business hrs? I left the local dealership with the plates from an impala (car plates) they said it was good because of load rating. Hehe kinda funny that my impala could carry enough people to equal a small pick up. They were wrong I had to redo my registration.

Any of you guys looking for a woods / trail rig? I bought a 96 that broke a ball joint, fixed it to make it a proper offroader, but plans and interests changed. 3.4 and auto with 155k on them. It's definitely a VT truck, needs some body work, a wheel bearing which is included, and some very minor frame patching (front half is in great shape), but it's got an inspection sticker till august. I'd sell it to a TW member for $1,400 bucks. Also comes with a set of 15x10 wheels.
