Will you be able to watch or partake in the inspection?
Seems the only difference for now will be cost and scanning the vin etc.
But seems like in time you won't be able to alter your ride in VT.
Seems to me the aftermarket industry would be pretty unhappy with this and put up a stink?
I'm thinking being a 13 you shouldn't have any issues. Are you stock?

Ok just got my state inspection. WOW it is extensive. pictures of everything. One of the truck in the shop. pic on the vin number. pic of you registration card pic of the sticker for the windshield. hook up a tablet to the truck via the osb2 port. I think that's what it called looks for emissions check engine light. everything is documented so if you fail at one shop and go to another the failed inspection will show up

    Hope the link works?
Depending on the shop seems a lot of vehicles would not pass.
My guy at work was saying his kid was a tech doing inspections and they are to take pics of tires, underbody, all lighting, windows for obstruction i.e. Air freshener hanging from rear view lol. But any tint anything on dash!! I have a OBD connection and use a iPhone as spedo and to view other stats. Anywho I got stopped and the cop kept on about my windshield suction cup holder with the phone being not allowed. The only thing it obstructs is my view of the hood.
Did your shop up the price for the inspection.

Ready for the salt to be over.
My black truck has been white long enough. Really want to get under it and clean and coat my frame (again).

I hear ya man. Looks like we gotta endure for at least the next 2 weeks. Here's to hoping for spring-like weather in April. :fingerscrossed:

I use lps3 works well after Toyota's CRC crap. We use it at work, machined parts have sat all summer and thru this winter without rusting. I do it multiple times in the summer. Kinda pick the scabs thing. With a good coat before winter. GM is using the same CRC
Noxodul I believe, on their new vehicles guess the fluid film doesn't stick to it?

Hello fellow Vermonters! Just moved into our 1st house ever! Living in St Albans. I have lived in Vermont all my life and it's a love hate relationship. Nice to see other Vermonters on here and will be looking for some advice for nice back roads that won't mess with a truck with no armor but is a nice day trip for some food drinks and pictures! Cheers

    Hey
    St. Albans here also.
    I think I've seen you.
Anyway not much for the off-road stuff around and what little (2) that I know of get trashed by the diesel guys.
