Just learned this over the weekend. We went to few sugar houses for the open houses they had. It's all grade A now.

I'm still on the old grade system. I think it is much easier grade B vs. grade A dark with robust

First part of the season usually comes out grade A then later B. I regret my family had sold all our buckets and evaporator that we made.

Yea we did a commercial maker in Georgia then stopped to this family's sugar house in Essex jct.
I grew up in the area and never knew it was there. The big guys had a huge RO set up. The family run one was way better, the granddaughter enjoyed it. And so did we. Just good people.

    Sunrise this am!

Yea I agree we are B people also.
Guess I don't understand why it would be all A? Maybe our worst is still better than others?

2014 Regular Cab 4x4 Tacoma in Magnetic Grey
I'm posing a questions to all Vermonter's. This is my first truck, although I have driven a Silverado 1500 for work. Anyway, I'm sure you're all familiar with dirt roads and how they get after snow melt and rain. When I drive my truck over these consecutive bumps at around 20 mph the truck, no kidding, swerves wildly and loses control. I have to slow down to about 5 mph to drive across these very bumpy areas otherwise the loss of control is too great and I'll end up in the ditch. I know this is a problem for a few reasons. It just doesn't feel right. The silverado doesn't exhibit this behavior. This morning another Taco was coming up from behind me and I was going too slow, I had to let him pass. I watched as he trucked right along seemingly absorbing the road faults with ease and control.

From what I can tell the truck is bone stock. The only thing that has been modified is the wheels. Currently on 265/65 R17. I checked to see if the sway bar was removed, it's still there. What could be causing this issue? Also at highway speeds, going up I89 to Burlington, the truck is constantly, albeit very slightly, swerving left and right. Almost like I'm driving in a crosswind. It's taking constant correction to maintain a straight course.

Any ideas what to check? Has anybody experienced this, particularly if you have a regular cab? I'm wondering if the regular cab is so light, especially with an empty bed that it simply cannot maintain road contact and as the rear bounces into the air the rear end swings out, too far for front wheel correction to remedy.

    Thanks for any help.

For those of you who have lifts and got an alignment after install, where did you go? I'm trying to avoid the dealership and shops that don't have experience with aftermarket lifts and won't dial in the right specs. Ideally it would be a shop that's reasonably priced and somewhere between Montpelier and Colchester.

Not gonna be a lot of help here but I know I get axle wrap I guess on expansion joints on certain bridges. Having weight helps I guess to set the springs with a load, again not positive. I've read the shocks are going opposite directions to make it better but still the springs want to make s shapes. I run 265/75/16 and the wider tires for me seem to steer where you point it unless they find the rut and they like to stay in them.

Thanks for the answer. Seems like no one has much to say on the matter. I learned today that if I put the truck in 4wd that the loss of control is significantly diminished. I like the look of the wider tires but not if the exchange is poor performance.

I was pleased with Baileys in Essex. Old school kinda I'm sure they would do what you ask. Ours are toys compared to what normal do.

I have not been to 4x4 center so I got nothing there. But the guys at baileys were doing springs that I could not even carry. They asked if it was ok to use the impact on my lugs.

My rear end kinda hops over stuff empty!
