That is a very kind offer and one I will take you up on. I see you have the Navy symbol on your profile as well as vet plates. I served in the Navy for 8 years, active duty, USS City of Corpus Christi. I got out December 2015.

Anyway, are you busy this weekend, maybe I can swing by with the fluid film and some beer as payment for shop use.

Well kept and you would get Michelins instead of the Rugged Fails. Assuming all goes well on the test drive I'd go for it and try to talk them down to $25K

Good deal! If all is clean I'd get it. Talk them down or make sure you get most for your trade if you are trading. Where are you located?

If you try talking them down let them know about Handy's Toyota, Heritage and how much they have on the lot for options.

Get them to put it on a lift.
Check the frame to see if it was taken care of.
I know that year is not a recall but don't see anything that shows Toyota have corrected the frame issues.
It has been on going since the 90s pickups buy back. The 1st gen tundra`s suffered the same frame issues, so they stopped them and made them into our 2nd gen Tacoma`s which are the same size but different body etc. check the frame, I have been looking and waiting for the right one to show up 07 or earlier 100k and a new frame... so I can maintain it from earlier in its life.

I looked at these today both auto I think.
One the frame was really clean. The Baja I believe. The other showed more surface rust.
Don't trust the dealer do your home work. Toyota wants to get out of frame hole they are in and not stand behind them like they did in the past.
Pretty understandable considering what it costs to replace a rusty frame and everything related to it.
I'd taken care of mine since 40k I'm at 150k. But mine got the CRC crap because I'd done what I did to keep it good. Long story told dealer I refuse crc if it will not be covered after the crc. Picked it up 6 hrs later it was dripping seriously dripping, bed was not removed. I parked on the lawn for 3 nights until it stopped. When I picked it up I asked seriously this is the fix? I don't believe they even washed it before the crc was applied.
Then I was told that's that Toyota was done was me? I was fn livid!! Told them I was not leaving until I got a extended on the frame or the crc was removed to my liking. After 15-20 mins of talking to potential customers they asked me to leave, so I asked if it had been removed or is it under warranty?
Anywho they were gonna call the pd on me so I filled a claim with Toyota right then and there. They said it would be covered for 15yrs from production. Felt all warm and fuzzy right? After pressing for written proof Toyota corporate called to say the 15 people I'd spoken to were wrong. So I got boned but I figured out the lps3 works well with their crc and I am glad the lawsuit will extend coverage but I should have prolly left it to its own demise.. My neighbors 1st gen tundra is still covered but my newer Tacoma isn't.
Anyway really look at what your getting. Ask them for pictures of the underneath.
Both the trucks I posted are same yr close in miles etc but frames show a big difference in how they were taken care of and how much maintenance needs to be done in the future!
Also have them the drop the spare and look at the frame above where the spare hangs.

Sorry not so short a post.

This is what mine looked like before winter can't wait for it to warm up.
It needs to be cleaned from bottom to top!

3 k more with less miles.
    Nicer wheels and dual shocks.
Not sure about the rest. Just saying same year and miles (pretty close) big difference in the frames. I can run up and take some pics in the am. Wish I'd had done it today.
