Yo Vermonters. I'm heading north your way to camp and explore. Anyone know any good trails to drive down that have some cool sights to see?

Sorry no help here in the northern part of the state.
Seems the guys in the southern part will have better info on trails.

So my wife thinks I'm stupid!!
    Anyone else have this issue?
I just drove 260 miles round trip to buy a set of stock steel wheels with sensors and grand fails at20 245/75/16s. They came off a 2013, steel has some rust and they are not pretty but tires have 5/32 tread and show some splitting. But neither of my two sets have sensors or are they stock size to comply with our new state inspection shit!
I pulled my gauge cluster out to find the previous owner had put black tape over the led for the tpms light. Anywho for 100$ and 1/2 tank of gas I solved this inspection issue.

VT is now doing a electronic inspection.
The shop has to purchase tablets to do inspections.
They are connected live to the dmv for photos and diagnostics. At any point dmv can ask for more info/pics of shit. Before if you didn't have any trouble lights it would pass. Not this year the systems get tested to see if they work. I've seen that may excuse the check engine light this year. Also the sticker on the inside of the b pillar lower part of the drivers side is what is what it needs to be.
How far the shop will push it depends on the shop I guess.
Some have said they only took pics of the truck on the lift and vin/reg/ins.
Others have said pics of everything underside wheels lights everything.

Hmm. I just got my truck inspected at the dealership, lifted, with no mud flaps, and didn't have any issues, in and out quick.

Yea I'd had thought the dealer would be dicks! Our local always points out the fact my wheels have no Tpms in them.
I don't want to risk not passing and having to scramble. And if you fail it is on record. The laws are pretty similar it's how accountable the inspection station is. Lol window tint/aftermarket lighting, tint on headlights or tailights. Pretty sad I could fail with my good bfg's or dirty tracks but can pass with worn out shit tire's.

I've been thru two inspections so far with the new inspection process. It is going to be strict.
pictures of the vehicle in the shop. picture of the information on the door. picture of the tires. picture of your registration. picture of the sticker.
start vehicle look for check engine light plug into vehicle computer to see if the check engine light has been reset lately. if the vehicle dose not pass and you take it to a different place it's in the computer and they have all the fail info. also if it fails and is repaired a picture has to be taken of the repair.

This year is a trial year so to speak of. if it's not major you will pass but next year is when it will be rough. I think this is going to really hurt the used car market. I would not buy a used car or truck with out getting inspected first.

Found a nice clearing on top a hill. Little cove in the trees. No wind, a little rain, and a few owls having a rap battle off in the trees behind me. Not to mention my dog snoring... I'm in the Warren VT area. If the weather clears I'm going to grab a few glider lessons at sugarbush. I've always wanted to fly a glider.

Sounds like a good spot. Wish I didn't have to work I'd stop over your not that far away.
Looks like you will have some great weather to glide.
