Vertical extension for KB Voodoo "Hi Rise Cross Bars"

I have the KB Voodoo Hi Rise Cross Bars with the offset brackets that allow the tonneau cover to fit. Has anyone come across vertical bars that can help raise the cross bar height if needed? Something that works with the KB brackets and bar design? Their website doesn't have anything and I'm not sure if this would have to be a custom made item.

 

I've looked into doing this but you can't extend the bottom leg of the bracket because it would lift the horizontal leg that rests on the bed rail upward. It needs to be a new entire bracket that is taller on the upper vertical leg or a very ugly vertical leg extension piece (unless I'm missing something). I've drawn one up in SolidWorks that is 2" taller but haven't quoted laser-cutting and coating it yet. I do also wonder if being taller will create other problems.

If you move away from a channel style cross member and use a round tube you can drastically add multiple options.
