    2/28 Update:
The Vermont dealer (Heritage) has said they are willing to cover the normal expenses associated with a rebuild after corporate supplies a new frame. Now the New Mexico dealer (Amigo) is saying that corporate isn't paying them enough to do the frame replacement . I'm hoping that is a delaying thing and not a deal breaker.

Hopeful, and it still feels like an uphill slog.

This happened to my '06 too. No rust, just a lot of off-roading.

Dealer was no help. Toyota corporate did not help either.

I bought the gussets to reinforce the motor mount.ls. Jacked up the engine to get everything aligned and welded it all up. It's a pain to remove the front axles and steering shaft.

Been watching this thread and hope the best for you. With the info provided so far looks like you'll end up with a new frame even though you're jumping through hoops to get it done. It'll all be worth it in the end with a solid frame underneath you.

No movement. Corporate will supply a new frame and that is all. NM dealer won't do the work.

How is it that corporate understands their culpability here enough to provide a new frame, but not enough to just make sure the whole situation is fixed??? If they are trying to retain my loyalty to their brand, it is being stretched just about to the breaking point.

Honestly after my Tacoma I will never ever purchase the brand again. I almost had to pay for a new engine if I didn't cause such a stink. I thought the dealer blew my motor because they used the wrong plugs on my TRD supercharged engine. Now that I'm going through my own diagnostics I see it was the damn pos Toyota fuel pump. It's clogged to the point that that I'm running way too lean. I don't go past 32 psi of fuel pressure under any condition and I hit 100% engine load under only about 60% throttle. Toyota even came out when this was all going on and said everything was fine. They set all their dtc trigger codes to such a threshold that if your engine light pops on than you're already screwed.

Oh. And after all this I asked the dealer what the fuel pressure should be at. They said no lower than 45psi.....

Toyota is turning a blind eye to their faulty equipment. . If I can diagnose this issue with $100 worth of obd2 equipment

i had a customer who had a frame replaced on his 08 dclb.
they just replaced the frame rails and cross members. all front suspension components were the old factory units from before. they did change the springs in the rear though. they wouldn't even align it afterwards for free.

he ultimately did the frame swap and sold it afterwards. why i don't know.
seems to me if it had a new frame it should be good to go for quite a while afterwards.

    hope this helps.
