Vftuner works now.

 

I purchased a new computer (windows 10) specifically to load this application. I’ve turned off Defender, firewall and anything related to security. The application finally installed, but when plug in the cable, I get this message?

 

Is this even compatible with windows 10?

 

Yes. Works with 10 and 11

 

Thanks! I can’t get the application to load past that screenshot? Got new computer and tuner kit today…
I emailed them the device serial number. Do I need to wait for an approval before I can go any further?

 

Is this a brand new kit or did you have an old computer with license key?

 

Everything is brand new, computer and kit. Just got both today

 

Pretty sure you just need to install the software plug in the cable and go. Need to be connected to internet

Otherwise need to send a message to zendesk to get it fixed.

 

I did all that. I’m now uninstalling and reinstalling. The computer is connected to the internet. Don’t know why im getting that message. Maybe, the new install will work…
I’ll message him if this doesn’t fix the issue.

Currently receiving the same error. I have a limited VF Tuner version of the software that came with the Magnuson supercharger. Just re-updated the machine, deleted old versions of the software and downloaded the newest, yet still receiving the same error code tied to my device serial number. Guess I'll submit a Zendesk support ticket.

 

That’s interesting. It’s also frustrating considering that amount of money I have tied up into this and can’t get anywhere. I’ve tried connecting to several different internet devices and keep getting the same code?

I received an email last night (just saw it) stating that they have to register the serial number/device. After that’s completed, should be good to go. We shall see..

 

Received the same email, I recall seeing a facebook post a few weeks back about needing to register the device to your account following the newest update since they were phasing out older versions of the Tactrix device. I have full faith that it'll be fixed. Matt is good people. I just responded to that email and I'm hoping for a response with it being fixed shortly to take advantage of the new YotaWerx tune for the Magnuson.

 

That’s good to hear! I can’t wait to get rid of this crap factory tune. I just traded a 15 Magnuson supercharged Pro for a 22 Pro. You will love the difference! Hopefully, he’ll get these registered soon.

 

Device is registered and software allowed me to continue. All appears to be good now.

 

Hey all,

so I tried to flash my truck today, for the first time in like 2 years.

I had to update vf tuner to the latest version. But now it’s not letting me open the program. It says cable not detected.

Has this happen to anyone. Does anyone know how to fix it?

Did you install the drivers? Could be new drivers since the software is updated.

 

Yea I did, I hit yes, it installs it, then closes and then when I open vf tuner it says the same thing.

 

hate to ask this but did you restart your machine after updating, and did you actually connect the cable, even if not connected to the truck?
