    Yup, diagnostics tab. Carful not to reset the thermal degredation unless you have replaced the transmission fluid recently.

    one is for the motor, the other is for the trans.

    just curious, with the new vFTuner interface (relative to how it was a couple years ago) is there a way to simply just read the currently installed tune?

    I’ve tried reading the output after hitting “prepare ECM” but it doesn’t say, and hitting “read p5 ecm” doesn’t seem to work.

    That has never been a thing and likely will never be.

    There is basically the same info as have always been given. More or less, ECU ID, VIN, and a couple other bit of info.

    Can anyone give me some guidance on how to get to the correct area on my VF Tuner 1.7 Legacy version to change the values in order to have my alternator setup for an AGM battery? I've been looking around for about a week, and I see where the figures are to enter, but I don't see where to go in order to change the values. I see the list under the OBD logger, but am just not sure what to choose and what not.

    About 2 years ago, I did the OV Premium fuel tune on my truck. That was preset and had all the instructions. Changing the alternator figures seems a little bit more involved without any good videos or step by step instructions. Thanks in advance!

    Anyone else having trouble running 1.7? I keep getting an access violation. Windows 10 home and pro on two different devices. Even tried reinstalling windows using the july 2023 version. Happens on 1.7.3 and 1.7.5.

    just got done tuning a tundra with 1.7 on windows 10 without issue. Try unplugging your dongle and plugging back in to the USB

    Tried all that. Have a ticket open with the OV folks and will post any resolution details. If anyone has an older build they can post I can try that. The current download has a file version of 1.7.3 and is missing drivers.

    do you have legacy dongle or WiFi flash?

    Legacy. At this point I have tried 3 different laptops. Win 10 22H2, Win10 21H2, and am working on Win10 20H2. All fresh installs with only a wifi driver and the dongle drivers. Starting to wonder if the dongle itself is bad but no way to check since it dies before validating the license and the software interface is never shown.

    That blows. I assume you deleted everything VF tuner on the computer. Then re downloaded driver for the legacy dongle off VF website, then re downloaded VF and still no joy?
