    Thanks!

In general, it is killer. I added it to my signature in place of the TS DL.

Nice table. Before it gets added to the front of the thread, is it possible / does it make sense to add 2021's (and I think some late 2020's) 04C20 AT and 04C30 MT?

I can do that. The list is mainly for TSB associations and there are not any yet for the 2021s. OVT did say that the MX Tacos are seeing 04C01 on the line.

You should not need to do that. @OVTune has had independant folks check the tunes and they appear to be EPA compliant. I have no DTCs or readiness code issues and the AFRs look spot on in Closed Loop.

Now, if you have Dump Tubes or headers, things are going to be different.

    Persons wanting to purchase a
Tactrix cable separately which one is sufficient? W or w/o adapters? Which one specifically? Techstream can utilize the same cable?

The extra adapters are for Subarus and Mitsubishis only.

Yes. Works perfectly with TS, FORScan, etc.

To put it simply one w/o adapters would be sufficient? Just open port 2.0?

Okay, long time lurker here of Tacomaworld. I recently (about a week ago) purchased VF tuner and the tune pack for my Tacoma. Ive been reading all the vf posts trying to wrap my head around what I actually need to do to get this tune on my truck. Mat sent me the email with my master key, which I activated through the Vf tuner program. Still waiting on the cable to arrive. My problem is the instructions on the first post of this thread seem really different than the instructions on the vf tune website. I guess I would be on page 15 of Mat's instructions, but it mentions nothing about emailing him a system id like this thread does. Any help appreciated, sorry if this post should be its own thread. NEW GUY!

Thank you for saying that, because I also have a ‘21 OR and I don’t find it to be as bad as everyone says it is on TW. I’m considering the OVT or the K&D tune, but might give it another month. I drove to SoCal from PHX today and actually I have nothing to complain about, it performed beautifully - not looking to fix something that isn’t broken. Also, I plan on keeping wheel/tire stock and really don’t want a lift, nor will I be fauxverlanding with it or loading it down with a bunch of extra weight/accessories, so maybe I don’t really need it at all?

I need to update the post. Basically once you’ve got the software installed and entered the master key, you are good to go.

tune pack is requested via zendesk once you know your ecu ID (or you could look at the ecu TSB update thread and find what the latest is for your truck. If it isn’t currently on that revision, it’s recommended to update)

    edit: post updated

I think all I need now are my Tune Packs, but they haven't replied to my email that I sent yesterday requesting them. Do any of you know how long they usually take to respond with that?

    Thanks

TPs generally come pretty quick. @OVTune said that he is swamped with new order stuff at the moment. That is probably the reason that you haven't gotten it yet.

If you do resubmit, reply to the existing message versus creating a new ticket, which will go to the end of the queue.

Hey Guys, new to the Tacoma tuning scene and am looking at as much information about the OV Tune as I can before I go out and get it. As I am reading I see a few posts about the TSBs, my first (of many) is, are the TSBs be done by the Dealer or does the OV Tune resolve them for you?

    I have a 2016 limited.

    Thanks in advance.
