    I recently had someone with that error and it was a blown OBD fuse under the dash. It is a 7.5amp fuse.

    I don't know how this happened but the email that was sent for this post reads EFI fuse & the post reads OBD fuse, it doesn't matter I checked all fuses while I was there but that's just the way it's been going for me on this. It's going to be something simple just have to find it.

    Sometimes it is bad to flash Stock over Stock. It might be time to reach out to vF Tuner.

    I sent them an email on Saturday. Holiday weekend and all I figure it will take them to Wednesday -Friday to answer back. No worries. It will all come together eventually. I really have appreciated yals help. Thanks

    I need a phone number for you guys, pm me please. I can't get you to contact me and I've replied to emails and submitted numerous tickets to no avail. long story short I need a tactrix and you claim to have sent me 3 but none arrived...I agreed to pay for one to be sent to me but I can't get you guys to contact me to arrange this. I need a phone number NOT an email as that isn't working!!! Also, I've been trying to resolve this for OVER A $#*&^! YEAR! So pm me a phone number so we can resolve this!

    So already asked PapaRee this but figured I'd ask here to for others to see - So just a question regarding VFTuner, I read the beginning of the manual and it looks like I am licensing the ECU ID (04C21 in my case)? So if I ever perform or have the dealer perform a TSB update, will VFTuner no longer work unless I pay for it again?

    How long is internet required? If I lose internet during the ECU calibration is that a problem?

    Nope. If you submit a Zendesk support ticket to VFT, you can get an updated Tune Pack. From what I have heard, you just need to show that you have updated your ECU ID before the TP is sent. Assuming a screenshot from the Flash Tool showing your VIN and new ECU ID?


    Just the fraction of a second that the Flash Tool checks to see that the VIN is Unlocked. The Prepare ECU step / a few bytes of data.

    As long as you do not exit that screen, no other internet access is required.

    Understood...I have posted there and they're somehow now blaming me for this getting lost in shipping (how it's my fault when my address was correct and I didn't set up the shipping is beyond me) but what's pissing me off is not only are they blaming me but they aren't asking their shipper where the damn thing went! They never even told me they sent a replacement...they say they tried sending 3 but never once did they tell me this until after the third attempt...I would have made them stop after the first one failed and find out where they were going but their communication is pathetic! I can't count how many tickets and emails I've sent trying to work this out!

    When they came out with the vftuner update their instructions weren't clear so I thought I needed to send in my tactrix but apparently not...ok my bad but good grief how are you going to send something more than once and not verify it arrived!?

    Great product from others reviews and dynos for sure (I haven't been able to use it so can't say first hand but nor reason to doubt it given the evidence), and giving folks with the pre-vftuner version a free upgrade was super cool too...but the communication is absolutely pathetic. Only complaint...geezus...well that and blaming me for the replacement not getting to my house is another point of contention...sure the need for a replacement is on me but the replacement(s) not arriving certainly is not...but oh well.

    I am just as surprised as you with this situation. While there have been delivery issues in the past, I don't recall one being posted that is this odd.

    IMHO, I would grab a Tactrix adapter from here, as I believe you considered this in another post:

    And, continue to pursue getting the adapter from VFT. When it arrives, you can sell it to recoup most of the cost?

    Yeah they finally gave me that same link (AFTER I started posting in two forums) so I'm perusing that route.

    They didn't charge me for shipping the previous 3...again to their credit...also again my ONLY issue is communication. Otherwise I've been very pleased with these folks. I really didn't want to make these posts but doing so is the ONLY way I got them to communicate with me, they finally sent me the link you just did after a year of dealing with this but only after I started posting in their forum and this one, AGAIN THIS HAS BEEN OVER A YEAR DEALING WITH THIS....and they closed the post I was responding to and even deleted posts I made. I've been telling them for over a year their ticket system is not working and that replying to emails doesn't work...like I said they never told me they tried sending me replacements, I would have NEVER expected them to keep sending them, I even told them "DON'T SEND ANOTHER unless it's to a shipping center AND I get a tracking number"...I have asked three times "did you find out from your shipper where these went?" and nothing...I would have thought they'd be interested in that.

    the lack of communication is all on them and they NEED to address it...but...I mean that's literally the only bad thing I have to say; they upgraded pre vftuner customers for free, they have updates for free, and they offer a quality product...I am sorry it's come to this and I really don't know why I'm dealing with it...seems I'm the exception to the rule and that's fine but this blatant lack of communication and victim blaming is beyond reproach imo. I wouldn't discourage anyone from using their product, everything I see has led me to believe I'm the exception here and that's good...well not for me

    I'm having the same issue. I got a reply over a month ago, submitted the info they wanted than nothing! I have sent 4 emails since with no reply! Shitty business model!
