VF Tuner Instructions for Dummies

After 11 days from placing my order(which was confusing for me on what products I needed), I finally got V2.0 file from OV. I followed the instructions as best as possible and cant figure out how to flash/tune my 2020 Tac AT. I watched several videos before I pulled the trigger on tuning with the provided tunes, 87 base and performance, 91,93, etc. That's what I am seeking. Something simple and quick.I don't know if this is possible with this version. Anyone out there have tips? I read through several posts and I am still confused. I am computer savvy, but this is beyond me.

 

Where are you hung up? What page are you on in the Instructions?

On thing that is not noted is the Tactrix drivers. You can get those from the Tactrix site.

 

Thanks for the reply. I think I have the very basics figured out. I assumed the provided file from OV, 04B81_Premium_33_Thx.vft, is the file for my vehicle--- premium fuel and 33" tire size. I cant really tell a difference from factory tune.....I was expecting a WOW factor. I'm hoping to learn more and customize tunes.

I read several posts with your guidance on Tactrix drivers. How does this come into play with the OV downloads, add-ons, etc.?

 

There are a few folks that don't feel the difference. The Perf and Tow tunes are coming though. That might spice things up.

If it flashed, then you are good to go. The Tactrix drivers are installed.

 

I keep getting a e13 message when trying to flash any help?
