Was this achieved with valve timing changes? Ignition? Otherwise???

Not going to argue it appears impressive. Judging by your AFR it was probably 11 mpg at the time, but uphill none the less.

I was sarcastic. All my "tunes" are hitting the wall. on that drive I was expecting the downshift to 4th.. I think my throttle limits are messing the shifting.
I'm about to load @PapaRee version and hit my hills..

Pretty solid at -3 on 85 octane. Seeing -2.5 under high load low rpm and vvt intake at 75.

Well I’m saying my truck makes 352 hp from now on, OBD fusion said so and no one can tell me otherwise.

In all seriousness do you like OBD fusion/ think it’s worth the money? In the market for a obd reader myself

Yea. It’s good for monitoring and pretty user friendly. I did find out too that you can share your layout with Dropbox. I was able to load my screen on an old iPhone I had.
It’s helped me with tuning. Looking at Rpms, gear, load, throttle angle— all help with making changes to tunes.

Since everyone else is posting theirs. Here is a hwy pull up a hill where I would very often drop down to 4th gear. This is with CC engaged. Let me know if anything seems off. Still new at this OBD Fusion monitoring.

    Hey everyone, Question.
VF Tune states their 2.0 is Octane learning? Is this right? And how do they achieve that? I found my Truck pinged a few times on the initial tune on pedal mash but now I haven't heard it ping. I think this software would be a good peace of mind to make sure I'm in the safe zone.

    Here you go...
    Use at your own risk!
I've got a couple hundred miles on it now. It's a variation of the Mild and wild tune. Shift points have been adjusted slightly towards a daily driver while in D. Made the fuel injection split bias towards DI when in a higher load and or rpm scenario. Increased intake valve timing in high load low rpm areas much like @PapaRee and @ForceOfG did but with my own flair, and ACIS high value is 3200 instead of 3400. Most notable difference from my last file aside from injection split, valve timing, and ACIS, is the "Mild" has become more drivable. It holds a cruising speed better, and I notice better fuel economy. (NOT A GUARANTEE). Also, with ECT power on, it's more of a tow tune than a "Wild". Tip in is mellowed out from original Mild and Wild. 6th gear is non existent, and 5th doesn't come into play until 60 - 65 mph. These particular shift settings work well when I tow my travel trailer. Truck and trailer loaded are 11,160 pounds. MAX combined weight rating of my rig is 11,360.
(I have not towed yet with these final valve and injection adjustments)

This is an 04b04 regular octane file. I've only ran this with Premium fuel so far. It's 91 octane where I live. Please keep an eye on Knock F/B Value if you decide to run this on regular octane fuel before I do. If knock becomes an issue, remove tune to something you've used before. As always, there is fine tuning yet to be done to this file to get the most out of it.
I have no immediate plans to make this into a Premium only file, nor do I plan to make this for other ECU Id's.
    Perhaps later down the road.

I had a slight decrease in mpg from the 04A61 tune that was posted a few days ago with the injection split, vvt and atkinson adjustments. That tune may not have the same adjustments to those tables as the ones that you are running.

    Negative numbers are retarding ignition.

In 3rd gear at high rpm high load I get pinging and the knock feedback jumps to -12. So the ecu is sensing knock and retarding timing to compensate.

I think -3 is just the default “everything is fine here” value.

You should change your "All Cylinders Misfire Count" to a radial gauge. The count erases every 1000 revolutions after a misfire occurs. Changing to a radial gauge shows you the min/max values in case you missed it once it erases itself. :hattip:

I'm trying to clarify. I have b31 unlocked and the tune pack. Are you saying that I can get an uneditable version of 2.0 for free if I update to b33? I sent an email a couple months back about the update and he said I would need to purchase a new tune pack.

He will send you 2.0 files for free. You just have to unlock it in vftuner if you want to edit it.
